Triscuits cracked black pepper and olive oil snacks!

Someone at the cooking forum mentioned these and how addicting they are.

So I bought a box and she is absolutely right!

They are now in the trunk of my car!

WalMart had them priced down from $2.50 a box to $2.00.

I'm taking the rest, if they last, Monday, to a Christmas luncheon to serve with a dip.

That explains why they are in the car trunk :o)

Hi Cena, I am glad you had a stafe drive home. Four banty hens. How fun! My sister had a Banty hen as a pet for years. It lived in an old rabbit hutch. My sister would take it for walks around the backyard all the time and that hen would follow her around like a puppy. Everyday we got one little egg. They were pretty small but they were consistant. So we knew what it was like to have fresh eggs. It was basically a two to one ratio to real eggs if one was using a recipe. I had a real good time meeting with you. I really enjoyed the visit. Cena came down to Denver around lunchtime so I ordered out for Chinese and we had lunch together. We just talked the whole time. She brought pictures of her plants and we looked at all her cactus and succulents. While she was here Jenlyn came home from a doctor's appointment and got to meet Cena too. I then got a chance to show her all of my plants and the rest of the house. Talking about the camera, I can't believe I didn't take some pictures while you were here. Don't give up! I can tell you our 4 Sambucus shrubs really took off this year after being planted 3 years ago. They are finally stunning and thriving! We were really considering giving up on them if they looked as ratty at the end of this season as they did for the last couple. I'm really stunned and wish I had a before/after pic because it really is something. By the way... No fertilizer - no nothing other than it's "natural" environment and some minimal pruning/shaping.

This sounds like a question that only someone in a stupor could ask. What were you THINKING, Hooray? Opening a window when its zero degrees outside? That's tantamount to being locked up in the state mental hospital for insanity. (I am just kidding you...don't take me seriously. I sprained my ankle and am delirious on Lortabs at the moment after a very painful ordeal yesterday). I actually can't imagine it being that cold. I have a coat on when its 55F. I hope your plants bounce back, but what gives me even more hope is that places like the Home Depot where you live even carried Crotons and Adeniums. By the way, your login info says you are from 6B Massachusetts, your post says you are in Maine. Which is it?

rmkitchen- You almost made me cry. This house has been such a trial, 3 years and enough heartache for a 100 more years. Had I known in the beginning what we were going to go through I probably would have thrown in the towel before starting. We are on our 2nd builder and we will probably have a lawsuit out of it. I don't even know if we will get to live in it. The bank threatens us almost weekly that they will take it if the builder they put us with doesn't get it done. Now they want us to finish, so we are out there doing tile, laying floors, hammering nails all because our builder spent almost all the money. Yes we have been complaining since month 1. This is property we bought 3 years ago. This will be my third summer that I have had a garden there. Our children have camped there, played there, lived there and now they threaten us. Its such a mess. I know its not something everyone wants to take the time to hear, but sometimes you just gotta vent. But this sweet bird made my day. My husband saw it, first rushed to get me. He knows how I feel about birds and nature. If I could have left it I would have. She hopped along the floor when I was taking pictures just talking up a storm to me, so sweet and uplifting.

I've never met a cracker I didn't like....they taste even better when you eat them in the car on the way home :o)

I have been buying those for almost a year now and they have to be my favourite cracker. I love them topped with tuna salad. My sister loves the basil triscuits and my friend loves the rosemary ones. I still like the pepper ones the best.

Think I will also like it cause I love rosemary.

Glenda, I haven't but I love Triscuits anyway, and I love rosemary, so I bet we will both like them. Something to add to my grocery list, for sure!

I love the cracked pepper and olive oil ones! We've had them lots. Rosemary I don't like, so therefore no one else can try them cause I won't buy! LOL

Okay, I got the rosemary ones just now. They are actually rosemary and onion flavored and I like them.

I also got a box of the roasted garlic flavor, which are tasty too.

Hubby doesn't care for black pepper, so if I get those next time they will be just for me.
