I did a video of an old family Christmas.

Last winter after Christmas we had a big snow, so I pulled my governess cart out and put the leftover holly and the wreath from the garden gate in it. Used the photo to make one of this year's Christmas cards.

We don't have a photo card this year but I often do photo shoots for the neighbors when they have something special going on. I recently did their family photo which included five adults, three dogs and an infant. Only took about 50 shots to get one exceptionable for a holiday card.

I did the shoot on Saturday afternoon, they left for Maui 6am Sunday morning and I received their printed cards on Tuesday! I was shocked. They ran their favorite shot over to Costco at 6:30pm Sat night, waited for all their cards to be printed, stuffed them into envelopes, slapped on address labels and a stamp and ran them to the post office.

I make my half fold cards on my HP printer, using cardstock. Have a template I use to type the inside greeting, plus the title and date on the reverse. Then I buy coordinating envelopes online in packs of 50. The envelopes are the most expensive part of the card, but it's worth it. The process takes longer than Costco probably but I really enjoy it.

Susan to make the stars I just used the paint tool and drew white dots in random places (I use Paint Shop Pro but I am sure you could do it with any photo editing software).

I have already posted this on another forum but here's our card for this year. Amos and Andi are 5 years old and are brother and sister Minilabradoodles. Asher - my GS is 29 months. Amos and Andi learned "place" at puppy school and I used it the first year to get a good picture. Every year since when I pull out their jinglecollars, they run and place for me. Asher was the one I had trouble getting to stay still - about 40 pictures and this was the only one that was "almost" perfect.

Love all the pictures. mboston, you will just have to teach Asher place, too. LOL

It's my first Christmas here and I'm really enjoying seeing all of these "awesome" pictures. Thanks to all for sharing them. And I agree with ellie, and hope there will be more too. So keep 'em comin'!
