I saw some of those the last time we went shopping for crocs. I tried them on and they felt good, but I didn't examine them well to see if it is easy to pull the lining out to wash them.
Ronnie ~ here they are.

Well honey, I didn't mention my 3 new roses because...

I'm with Ingrid on this one - with over 700 roses and the need for replacements each year, there's no way I could disguise rose purchases even if I wanted to, and I'm glad I don't want or need to. Like a lot of other people posting, he has his hobbies and I have mine, and the monthly storage fees alone for his classic cars balances out a fair bit of my rose purchases anyway. At the same time, most of my rose purchases aren't obviously roses to a non-gardener, since band plants just look like random perennials, and I tend to plant them pretty quickly after arrival so they don't sit around and get annoying. The only time I can recall he was a bit frustrated by rose purchases was when Eurodesert went out of business and I bought over 100 of Cliff's mother plants. You really notice how many roses are arriving when each comes in its own 3' X 5' heavy box, but bless his heart his main comment was a heavy sigh and a bemused question, "More roses?" As tightly as I pack my garden beds, you don't realize how many roses are in a given bed till you actually count. The one request he made was that I not add any new rose beds to accommodate any purchases, which seems quite reasonable to me (not to mention I've run out of good spots anyway). He's been really very supportive of my gardening, even though he still can only tell a rose from a peony from phlox because I tend to have more roses than anything. He'll frequently comment how nice the flowers in the front yard look, and mentions when he can see roses blooming from standing at the kitchen window. He even commented that he was able to trim the front hedges relatively pain free that have roses backed up right to the edge of the yew bush. Last week I cut some roses to give to friends, but they forgot to take them home. I was taking them up to go give to a neighbor when my DH interrupted and said, "But I like them too. Let's keep them, I really like these." Just when you think he doesn't notice he surprises you with appreciation. Yep, he's a keeper. He's probably rather not see so many roses, but he likes the effect as an end result. Cynthia

Funny you mention that. I have a patient who's much younger than her DH, also, and his kids weren't always the nicest to her - but when the skids had their own children, SM took the place of their own mother. She said, "I guess they figure it's been over 30 years since their mom had a baby, and only a few for me, so I'm the want they want advice from and to watch their babies..." But, I could totally see them saying, "Dana, Daddy's going to take us all out to a nice dinner - but that restaurant isn't right for the babies, so we'll be dropping them off for some stepg-ma time w/ you for a few hours!" and expecting me to throw a party and enjoy it all... In our situation, BM has told the girls she's moving back to CA when she retires in a couple of years. That's another odd move if it happens. I mean, the girls have been gone in college for years, finally move back here, so you want to move to the other side of the country? Weird. I'm afraid I'll be the MIL from he!! who moves in next door to my boys and their wives....lol. Right now, I'm dreading any 'marriage' situation w/ the SDs. The 22 y.o. who's living w/ the bf is my worry. I love the bf (more than her by far), but I want to somehow work into a conversation that today, when you wait til you're settled to marry, you can have any type of wedding you want 'cause you can foot your own bill! Hint, hint, lol. I'm not opposed to doing something for her, should we ever have $ again, but I'm envisioning the princess for a day/weekend type of event that DH will suggest we sell the house for...and, I actually do believe in the days of the distant past, the bride's family DID foot the bill as their DDs needed to be taken care of, had no careers, and married in their teens. I married at 33 and made more than my parents combined, so there was no way I was having them pay for our wedding which was kind of large to include many of our colleagues, etc. Anyway, keep your fingers crossed for me that there is no upcoming engagement... Below is the link when they 'surprise' her. She acted pretty surprised, but I've heard that the winner already knows when this is happening. It is odd that no one is ever in their pajamas, they are always well dressed. The houses are always clean and neat too. Maybe someone with a faster internet connection can watch the other videos and tell me Myra's inspirational story and why her son is so special. Takes me about 20 minutes to watch a 3 1/2 minute video. lol Here is a link that might be useful: Myra is surprised

In case you didn't get a train for Christmas.

Nan, when you click on a car it will move if there is a proper place for it to move. The only way to move an engine is for there to be a blank spot at the front of a line. The idea is to have a full train of each color placed in proper order on each line. First the engine, next the little car that has RR on it. After that a regular looking box car followed by the one that is supposed to be a passenger car with all the windows followed by the caboose. Linda

My son surprised me with a pair for Christmas, he knew I had said I wanted a pair. Mine are khaki colored, only color they had he said, and I am pleased. They are sooo warm and comfy. Instructions come telling how to take out the lining to wash.
That auction showing the Crocs are a good price, they are $39.99 everywhere I have seen them. I am the proud owner of 5 prs. of Crocs., different styles and colors. Love them...

I got a pair of black ones from my daughter for Christmas. They have the black lining. I didn't see any instructions for taking the lining out for washing. Would you share what is said about it?
I love mine, and they are so warm and cozy. I'm gonna look for some other colors.

I have a pair of the black with the black lining too. Very comfy and easier to slip on than sneakers which need to be tied.

Leslie, the washing instructions were on the tag I think. If I can find mine I'll post them later.
