I just found this thread. Glad you got it running. An earlier poster suggested going to half choke, pull a couple times, then go to full choke. That is backwards according to the manuals for every small engine I've ever read. It's full choke till it tries to start, then half. Be listening for that "tries to start" - it will be a brief firing of the engine and you HAVE to stop there and go to half choke so you don't flood it. Another poster mentioned being careful with the choke so as not to flood it. I would agree 100% with that. If you pull it on full choke several times (my limit is about 5) and it does not try to start, STOP and go to half choke for a couple pulls - it may be already flooded with fuel and needs more air. These things can flood easily and no amount of pulling will clear it, only fresh air. If I suspect I've flooded one I go to full open on the choke (ie RUN mode) and pull a couple times. If it doesn't start I go get some ice tea and leave it for a few minutes. Once the engine is warm you may need no choke to restart it, or only half choke. Don't go to full choke on a warm engine unless it won't start without it, or you can flood it. And don't suck up bad crap. :-D

nkt: For every mix, I don't have exact proportion per se. I just mix what I've got at that particular time. One thing that I don't forget is sand so I can have a well drained soil. Next to that is peat so the mix will be more acidic which citrus loves 6.4 to be exact. Next is steer manure as fertilizer (because they are cheap. Then a potting soil so the mix is a little black in color and black soil is an organic soil. If I have perlite then I toss it to the mix or dolomite or dirt from my yard. The main thing is when you hose your mix, the water will go down quickly. In less than 10 seconds. Then you know you have a good mix. If you want a proportion mix, then 1/3 sand 1/3 potting soil 1/3 peat moss. then add 2 cups steer manure. Mix them good. If you want you can add the osmocote to the mix a long lasting fertilizer about 1/2 cup. You could use the one you bought as a 1/3 of the mixture then you can buy the play sand as the other 1/3. Then as for peat moss if there is no small size bag peat moss you can substitute an orchid mix. As for the long lasting fertilizer, right now I'm using Vigoro 19-6-12 All purpose. Before that I was using Osmocote 24-4-10. Your citrus will not know the brand and they are so forgiving irregardless how you treat them. The main thing to remember is the pH of your soil and don't water too frequently. Wait until the soil on top is well dried to the touch. Benny Be mindful that once every 4 months drench your soil from top to bottom. Use water at least 4 times as big as your pot to get rid of the salts that was built up .

Well, it shan't hurt to look! I totally agree with you about bags! Bagless vacs are a marketing fad. Except for the Dyson or other machines that don't have a paper pleated filter in the middle of the chamber. But they still reqiure you to empty them and deal with the flying dust. Just be sure that you're looking at Progressive series machines. You'll be able to tell just by looking at the power nozzles... the higher end vacs have a more contoured (and I think more attractive) power nozzle. Also, be sure that you get the electric PowerMate Jr., not the air turbine HandiMate junior sold with the cheaper models. Take a look at the attachments as well... the dusting brush should be a round or oval separate tool from the upholstery tool. If you see a rectangular tool with a slide off brush with black nylon bristles and no separate dusting brush with brown horsehair bristles you're probably looking at a lower end machine. Hope you find something that works well for you!

On the net, has that unit and the install material. Also for a price on the unit itself. Usually, your local electrical showroom/contractor supply has all the piping and fittings, and they are available on the net. Make sure to get the rough piping/low voltage bell wire and inlets done before drywall. That will cost very little, even if you involve a union plumber or electrician. You can purchase/install the unit any time down the road. If you are bricking the exterior, put two pipe sections out for the exhausts (so they can brick around) which will save some time down the road.
