and its NOT Christmas related!

How can liars live with themselves??

Tell a whopper of a lie and never think its going to come back to you? Guess again. The truth always comes out!

All lying does is create yet more distrust and hard feelings and bitterness!!

It isn't the first lie told by this person as you can guess.

Geeeeeeze I hate liars!!!!!!!!!!

I think you should lose a digit everytime you lie! Then people would be more honest or have no fingers or thumbs! LOL

Hi friends, I just wanted to let you all know that Val had his epidural all this afternoon! boy what an ordeal all of the waiting and testing and poking and prodding .... he's been in such intense pain it just breaks my heart . his next round of chemo is on Tuesday then the following week my family is taking a much needed vacation and it's my wish that he's well enough to come down for a couple of days . he is very weak he has lost about 20 pounds so far but after his Chemo he has absolutely no appetite and relies on protein drinks to hold him over hopefully the next few days will bring him the relief that we are wishing for! Thanks ladies. Yes, the agent is my friend. She is such a good person and I couldn't "ditch" her, not only because of the $6k she is kicking in but because she really is trying her best. In hindsight, I blame myself for not thinking through this whole thing and assuming it wouldn't be complicated. You know, look at some houses, buy one house, sell 2 houses, coordinate all of this.......I mean how hard is that (said with dripping sarcasm!!) Boy, I was sure dumb! I also blame her broker. The office is only her broker and her. The broker is a top dog in the state's RE board, on all these committees, arbitration boards, etc. I feel that her broker has left her out to dry and will only respond when asked to but not completely. (We had asked her previously to contact the listing agent's broker about lack of responses and she wouldn't. Didn't want to go over her head). Also, there are many things that an experienced agent would have done/suggested/been knowledgeable about, that our agent hasn't. However, her broker should be helping her along and isn't. DH is in a tizzy today...........has called everyone from the listing broker (she asked WHY we needed a copy of the signed addendum....duh!!), to the listing agent's relo company (won't return his call) to the relo case manager (won't return his call). We haven't heard from our agent in 1.5 days..........this is almost getting comical, no?

Here's my simple to follow directions for photos. I'll look for your picture later tonight (we're west coast) and see if we have a useful idea - my husband spent considerable time pondering this issue and reviewing available ducting, so maybe he has something that will work for you. 1. Open a Photobucket or Flicker or whatever freebie photo storing site you like. I randomly chose Photobucket and it's really easy to work with. 2. Load your photos from your camera onto your computer. From Photobucket (or wherever), hit the "upload" button and follow the directions. 3. When you mouse over one of your stored photos a box comes up with a list of things like "direct link," "html code," and "image code." The one you want to click on is "direct link." It begins with "http://" and ends with ".jpg" 4. Whenever you want to place a photo in a post, you type in this script: <img src="Your URL location here" </img> Paste the direct link address you copied from your photo between the quotation marks (replacing "Your URL location here"). 5. If you want to use a photo from somewhere else on the net, click on the photo and a list comes up which includes "copy image location." Click that to copy and proceed as above. I think that script needs a > right after the closing quotation mark.

Oh I really like the new trim on the vent. For me, not only does it hide the vent but it also finishes things off nicely and looks good with the cabinets.

Well it would leave someone I know without the use of any fingers or toes making them even more obnoxious to deal with because then they'd be totally helpless, yeah it was fun to imagine for a minute then reality set in lol.

Good idea, have you noticed that the penguin doesn't go as far as the first time you smacked it with the bat? ;0)

Yep, make 'em easy to spot! The liar I know is easy to see thru, but others don't know what I know!

Zipper, I know someone like that too. And yes, darn penguin, I couldn't hit him as far after I lost my frustration! LOL

I've been a liar lately....can't help myself. It is always with folks who won't accept the truth, or who are pushy and overbearing or someone who is wanting to take advantage of me.

BF often feels bad when he flat out refuses to go and do things with folks when they invite him. The truth...he simply is not interested in going, or would much rather just relax after having a long hard work week. I encourage him to make up excuses (fibs/little lies), since they just won't take 'no' for an answer, and since they just don't seem to understand he is tired, and just not interested. Some of his friends are retired and just plain bored...something BF never has time to be.

Little white lies aren't the same in my book! You usually tell them to AVOID hurting someones feelings. I understand those Sue.

Thanks nodak...I wondered if someone might think I was terrible for what I said. Yes, I prefer to think of them as fibs, or little white lies...and yes, it is usually to spare someone's feelings.

I always say I'd rather be told a hurtful truth than lied to, because I can forgive being hurt, but a lie makes me lose trust, and that's almost impossible to get back.

There is only one person that can get me madder than a hornet. Whatever you do, don't lie to me!
A out and out lie and she thought we wouldn't find out. Oh well, maybe another mark against her at the right time. He has a notebook everything gets recorded in. I just hope at the right time it pays off.
Still makes me mad, because of this lie DS and I lost 5 hours of time and 250 miles on my car. Now everyone is leery of taking ANYTHING at face value that comes out of this persons mouth.

Things could be so different and thats what disgusts me!

Sorry, you were lied to Connie.

I don't like liars either. Ever since my 2 nieces were little I told them never to lie to me because I would always know. They lied to me a couple of times and I always caught them to their surprise. I did warn them! LOL

I'm good at reading body language and faces so I can pretty much guess when somebody isn't telling me the truth.

Hard to do on the phone but sometimes you just catch something in the tone of their voice. LOL

I wish I could say she will get her just due, but it never seems to ever happen. I'm sorry you're going through this with her yet again. Really and truly, I dread the thought of you having to put up with her for the rest of forever. Liars are the worst kind of people. Honor, at least, makes a person own up to their dirt. She has no honor whatsoever. Hopefully, her children won't grow up repeating her sad example.
