hopefully it is so that family circus will end. too bad the state has just come out and said they won't seek the death penalty because they had yet to find a body and the burden of proof is sooo great they would not have a guaranteed win w/out a body. they already have enough evidence to guarantee a conviction/win on the lesser charge thou atleast ~ liz

This whole story makes me sick. That poor little girls mother needs to rot in her prison cell and think everyday of what she did to her little girl. There is just way too much evidence against her for me to not believe that she did this to her daughter.

I hope the remains are Caylee so that the rest of her family and friends who care about her and love her can find some closure and somehow a way to deal with this.

    Casey Anthony Question

Casey said she took Caylee to the apartment complex where the "Nanny" supposedly lived and dropped her off into Nanny's hands outside the apartment. From what I have gathered in the interviews of her about the Nanny, she never actually went inside an apartment. She also said that sometimes she dropped her off to the Nanny at a park or other places where the Nanny went often with Caylee. "the defense is building their case around the Nanny taking Caylee." Not much of a defense in my opinion since they have already basically proven the "Nanny" doesn't exist. I agree with azzalea, that whole family is nuts! In the first place if Caylee were my grand child and lived in the same house with me (or not) and I hadn't seen or talked to her in a week, much less a month,I would have been finding out where she was! And a mother whose baby has been missing even a few days, much less weeks and doesn't report it,totally unbelievable.I wonder if one or both of the grandparents may have had something to do with Caylee's death or are covering up for Casey. That is a horrible thought but possible.Whatever happened,I pray that someone will trip up and the truth will eventually come out.I don't want to even imagine what that baby's last moments of life were like, especially if it was her mother or grandparents that killed her.So sad. I need to go hug my grand babies!

She is always saying that "Tot Mom" is wanting millions to be interviewed, just how does she know this???? She has never spoken to her. I don't know how some of these talk show hosts get away with telling such stories and the sad part is people believe them to be telling the truth. Nancy is always screaming about what a liar Casey is, but she is telling lies nightly on her show.

    Missing little girl in florida..Caylee

Well, the car had been missing for quite some time--supposedly--if that was the case, then I guess no one would have cleaned it. I have my doubts about the month Caylee was missing before she was reported--the time line just doesn't add up. I think that in reality, whatever happened, happened much closer to the time she was reported missing. I believe her mom and grandma know what happened and have been putting out lies and contradictions in order to confuse things, and make it much harder to find Caylee, and the evidence of what happened to her (and yes, I very much fear she is no longer alive, hasn't been since before she was reported missing, and that her mother either caused her death or is covering up for someone else who did. And grandma--being the controlling narcissist that she is, is orchestrating the coverup. She reminds me so very much of Mrs. Peterson when she speaks. Her Casey can do no wrong--and it's terrible that the country is persecuting (and hopefully PROsecuting) her.

I agree with Steph. The hope that this child may have been kidnapped (as the mother alleges) must be killing her grandparents. They deserve answers. And her Mom deserves to be in jail.

I can't post what I think of this biological mother....cussin' aint allowed here.

i pray it isn't, but havn't had any hope from the first...

If this is indeed the body of Caylee, I would bet that Cindy, the grandmother will say that the "kidnapper" killed Caylee!!

If she -is- dead, then I pray this is her body so that an end can come to the horrible circus her 'mother' has caused for so many people.

Sue, I think you are right. It sounds like the grandmother will beleive anything her daughter tells her. She just can't wrap her brain around the possibility her daughter caused harm. I have a nephew who lies, even when not needed, just to make himself look better and comes up with some whoppers, after a while you don't beleive anything that comes out of his mouth, even the truth. I watched the interview on Larry King last night, some of it. The grandfather doesn't look any one in the eye when he talks, I don't think he beleives what he is saying. I think he thinks his daughter is guilty but is going along with the grandmothers delusions in beleiving what her daughters says is the truth, but won't cross his wife.Grandmother probably is a mental mess and on the verge of a breakdown.
    Its all very sad.

Yesterday, Cindy said she feels in her soul, that her daughter had nothing to do with the disappearance of Caylee. I really wonder about that. I guess I shouldn't be questioning what she says, but come on. A mother's love.....and all that.

Issie, I saw that interview and I agree.

The odds are it is Cayle the child's body was found near the Anthony's home in a "black garbage bag". Casey had a black garbage bag in the back of her car.

There is one statement that Casey said that is the truth..."I think Casey is very close." Really?

She also said "They haven't even found her clothes yet." So, what does she know?

I don't think any one of us would want to believe that their child is capable of murdering their own child. Deep down you know it might be, but you can't vocalize it. Does that make sense?

I just can't believe the quote on the link:
"we're assuming they are the remains of the victim" Hello? They're THE REMAINS OF A victim! Doesn't matter who. Right? It's someones child. She didn't get into that bag and duct tape it closed herself. Sorry, but that line is just wrong........

I had not herd this. I agree with Gadgets, if Caylee is deceased, please let this be her so she can get a final resting place. it wouldn't bother me if they threw the mother and her parents in a cell and throw away the key.If, by some miracle Caylee is alive, I pray that when they find her, she can be adopted by a loving SANE family. Dottie

duct tape was found on the mouth of the skull and the state is bringing back the death penalty if DNA comes back positive, that will take a few days. duct tape means there is no possible way this was an accident, casey was offered a plea deal (that's long expired) involving a reduced charge if it was an accident. if the state pursues the death penalty her clown of lawyer can not defend her in this state since he is not qualified to defend in a death penalty case.

the main sheriffs investigators have sent Equisearch home, they were the people searching for caylee, saying they are very positive who the victim is & there are no other reported small children in the state of FL missing. the owner of Equisearch is convinced the remains are caylee and he has alot of experience in this field. the remains are 1/3 of a mile away from the g'parents house, in woods where casey used to hang out, it was a flooded area all summer after hurricane faye and could not be searched. equisearch was slated to search that very area as soon as water receded since casey mentioned the area several times. when casey was told about remains being found she freaked out and needed to be given a sedative.... once they have a positive ID i hope investigators look into the grandparents they know too much to be totally innocent~ liz

Thanks for the link. That is so sad, It just makes me sick to think that anyone, especially a mother could do something like that to a child.

Nancy Grace said there are 3 or 4 others missing in the Orlando area. But they believe the remains to be Caylee.
Poor baby. I hope the mother gets the death penalty.

I have been horrified at this whole case. The so called "mother", there is no punishment good enough for her. The grandparents, something is up with them too I agree. I thought I saw where they were to be on Larry King Live again tonight?
This poor, sweet. innocent child had no one to protect her!?

I agree. I think there is something up with the grandparents too.

I also just heard that there were NO reported children missing in that area since Caylee.

I love my child. I love him more than anything in this world. BUT, if he did something like that to his child, I would do everything in my power to see him punished.

Casey is a monster and I believe her parents know it. How do you protect and continue to defend a monster even if it is your own child?

You know how I see it? Casey didn't get that way on her own.

She is so spoiled, so entitled, that she HAD to have been raised like that--the little princess who could do no wrong, who was always allowed to do whatever she wanted.

And IMO--obviously only an opinion--Grandma is in this up to her eyeballs. Not sure about dad--I don't get the same vibes from him. But Grandma was the one who insisted and insisted for weeks that the last time she was Caylee was June 9 (might not have the exact date there), then, eventually a tape of Caylee on Father's Day surfaced and proved her wrong. Now you might have some date confusion if it were between, say--Sept. 20th and 28th--but FATHER'S DAY? I don't think that would slip your mind.

My gut feeling is that Grandma knew what happened--probably right after the fact, I don't feel she was involved with the death--and totally orchestrated the whole coverup that's been going on for months--deciding not to report for a month (to give the body time to decompose in the heat--after all it was Mom who stated that heat was responsible for the decomposition of the non-existant pizza in the trunk of the car); who screwed up the dates (purposely, IMO, so that if Caylee was found, and time of death determined, they could say it happened AFTER the babysitter took her).

And isn't it interesting that they were following up a 'lead' in California this week? Nice that it was someplace nice to visit, rather than, oh--someplace cold and dismal.

Also interesting that they're only following up the leads they've supposedly collected. Before this discovery this week, it was reported that the police have a disk of information on tips/leads, etc, that all they have to do is send their lawyer in to pick up--but he hadn't bothered. If they truly believed the little girl was alive and there was anything to ANY leads, they would have been chomping at the bit to get that info as well. But then, knowing she was already dead, it wasn't important, was it?

Not a doubt in my mind that grandma knew Caylee was dead BEFORE she phoned in the missing person report.

Interesting observation you made, Happy go lucky gayle:

She also said "They haven't even found her clothes yet." So, what does she know?

I heard on one news report that the bag with the skull had no clothing remains that were apparent. So, if Casey undressed her before bagging and taping her little body up, then, the above statement she made would really be a Freudian slip. She knows the clothes are separate from the body!!!!And they haven't "found her clothes YET"!!!What does she mean by YET?

Another pearl of truth from that pathetic so and so.

I'd like to give Casey a nice sedative, a permanent one. She's earned it. All this time, she's been sitting there so smugly, no one could find the body. Everyone gave her a lot of credit for being more clever than she really is. I really thought "wow, she's good at hiding a body!" Then it turns up so close to the house. She's not clever, she got lucky with floodwaters. Thank goodness for that meter reader needing to pee. I am so glad this bag was finally found, now let's see what kind of lies Casey comes up with. And her mother, too. Her mother is a nutcase, IMO. She definitely contributed to the making of a lying, piece of crap daughter.

Did FL retire Ol' Sparky, their electric chair? I hope not.

It just makes me sick, to think what that little girl went thru, the horrors, I would think they could go alot by her hair, that should be in the bag too. I just don't understand, how anyone, espeacially a mother, could do such a thing. You know if Casey didn't want to be a mom anymore, why not give the little girl up for adoption, or take her to a hospital, and leave her. To me death by injection would be to kind to do to Casey.
What makes me also a little suspicious about the grandparents, is if the little girl was missing 5 weeks prior to when the grandmother reported it, I think it a little odd, that they didnt realize she wasnt around.

I sure hope the remains found is that of little Caylee so this whole case can come to an end. To me, that whole family is whacky. I say keep Casey in prison....not isolated....let the other prisoners do her in and save the taxpayers the money of long drawn out trials. Prisoners don't like child molesters or child killers.

They found evidence that links the remains to the Anthony Residence.

If the Caylee's parents are going on Larry king again, it will confirm my opinion that they are publicity crazy. I have thought, all along that there was something fishy bout them. Caylee's mother is a narcissistic, spoiled unfeeling person and I wish there would be a more painfull way to execute her besides a shot in the arm. Dottie

The prosecutor won't seek the death penalty it said in the article. My god after reading the link Gayle posted I just want to hurl!!!!!! The mother needs much more than the death penalty!

Last month, the Orange County State Attorney turned over almost 800 pages of documents, which showed someone at the Anthony home had done Internet searches for terms like "neck breaking" and "household weapons."

In mid-March, someone used the Anthonys' home laptop to search Google and Wikipedia for peroxide, shovels, acetone, alcohol and chloroform. Traces of chloroform, which is used to induce unconsciousness and is a component of human decomposition, were found in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car during forensic testing, the documents said.

It ain't accidental death. That is all I have to say.

From what I understand, it hasn't yet been decided whether they will seek death or not. The prosecutor's office took it off the table back when they didn't have a body. Now that the evidence has changed drastically, from what I've heard, they can definitely change their mind and put it back into the case at any time. And I hope they do. It's none too good for Casey.

I agree with Linda...put her in with the general population and see how long she lasts.
Also the family, especially the grandmother seems a bit strange to say the least.
Anyone that hurts children should be locked up forever at the very least.

The one thing that has sickened me more than anything else is the report that the duct tape was found over the child's mouth.

Can you imagine the horror that baby went through, not being able to speak or scream or cry?

I hope the punishment is life without parole. A needle in the arm is too good for her.

    Sue

I agree - the duct tape thing was just too awful to even think about. The thing that gets me, too, is in all the photos Caylee looks so taken care of and so loved! I mean, she has on her little necklace and sunglasses, "reading" her book out loud, SOMEBODY had to have cared about her sometime to buy her all those things and read to her, etc. What in the world was her mother thinking? And what's with the grandmother? Don't think that if one of my grandkids was missing - for two HOURS I wouldn't be doing some questioning as to their whereabouts.

The whole deal is just sickening. That little girl was so innocent and so beautiful.

YaYa, I agree with you 100%. The only thing I hope is, with the hint of chloroform being search out on the internet, and traces of it being in the trunk, that she didn't know any of this was going on.
I thought the same thing. Someone loved her at one time. To bad Casey didn't drive her up here to Nebraska, with our liberal Safe Haven Law, and drop her off at a hospital. I guess she had a party to go to instead.
    Leslie

I just looked at all the Party Pictures of Casey for the first time. She is really grieving. More like celebrating HER life without Caylee.

When they told her they found a body near her Parent's House she lost it. Now she's grieving? It's all about HER!

    Gayle

Someone mentioned to me maybe she actually died in the trunk. Could be. Here's scenario that fits perfectly-

That would explain a heck of alot-Casey went out to party, used Chloroform on Caylee to make her sleep before putting her in the trunk, taped her mouth shut in case she woke, and she dies in the trunk. Casey panicked and left her there for a bit (at some point in this her father saw her on the freeway and she purposely drove off to lose him), eventually removed her when the coast was clear-probably at night, to a stretch of woods she was somewhat familiar with.

The grandparents on Larry King Live said that those photos of Casey in compromising situations (no dress contest, dirty dancing, etc.) were all staged to draw people into the club she was at. Hello.....did she work there? I never saw that detail mentioned anywhere. All indications were that she didn't work.

The grandmother is in total denial about Casey, not to mention about the child Caylee. She's what I would call an Enabler (with a capital E).

The grandmother said that Casey was paid to pose for the picture, she called it "staged", as if that made it all right in her mind.

I would have liked Larry to have asked them why Casey sent the detectives to a vacant apartment to look for Caylee's babysitter, and why she gave a name for the babysitter that the police can't track down. I wonder what they would have said.

She also sent them to Universal Studios claiming she worked there. Once they got to the office buildings she admitted she hadn't worked there in months.

See...those are the kinds of things I wish Larry King would have pressed them on. Of course, maybe some topics were off limits as part of their agreement to appear on the show. But I'd like to see how they would answer those questions.

Well what about the Photo where Casey gives a "booty shot of her Tramp Stamp" with her pants pulled down? Is that publicity for the Club?

    Gayle

I always hate stories like these, I would have taken that baby in a nano-second if they didn't want her. Just breaks my heart.

    Trin

It just makes me cry when they show the video of Caylee singing at the table and talking to her papa. I can't watch that now. I am so glad there will be some kind of closure on her now. As sad as it is....

Lisa, your scenario is similar to the Bounty Hunter's, and I think that is pretty close to what might have happened.

    Except I would add this:

We know Casey borrowed a shovel. I think she tried to dig in the back yard where the little play house was, and another spot. The dogs hit on those two places. Maybe the ground was too hard or something, so then she went to the woods. And that is where she left the bag and contents.

    Monster!!

    Sue

    Sue, that is my thought.

After reading about someone googling how to "break a neck" and "household weapons", I can't see it being an accident. It's sick, her "mother" is sick, the grandmother and the grandfather is either in on it or just really stupid.

How do you not report a 2 year old missing for more than a month? My kids are teens and I'd start panicking after a half hour of not knowing where they were. I'm glad Caylee isn't suffering anymore no matter what, if that is her, doubt she is alive even if they find that body isn't hers. They need to execute this b_____. Then she can party all she wants in H@ll.
