Would love to hear from the cancer survivors on here..

I am 42 years old, getting ready to start several more cycles of chemo after i just finished radiation which was the worst experience of my entire life. I was dx in july with colon cancer. I had a polyp removed and they were 100% sure it was benign, but it came back with a cancer in it- a T1 early cancer or stage I which was good, and no further treatment would have been needed, but after surgery it was discovered there was 1 lymph node positive which then classified me as stage IIIa, still a very good prognosis, but it began my journey with chemo and radiation. it has been very very tough, but i am hopeful that things will all work out, and these treatments will have been worth it. Of course it is always in the back of your mind that it might come back and that scares me. I am in flight or flight mode getting ready to start treatment again this tuesday, and will be facing 3 months of no cold fluids, neuropathy, mouth sores, and all that fun stuff. I could sure use some encouragement and hope and all of those things from those of you who have been through it.Thanks
