MsMarion, We missed you. Glad you called. And I'm sure glad Dick feels better! There are even a couple pieces of cake left. But not for long. We did have a lot of fun. And great food. Veronika brought a delicious Czech treat, Lisa of course outshined us all with two delicious salads. A beautiful broccoli slaw and a wonderful potato salad! Not to mention a bucket of KFC! And a whole branch of delicious bananas. We ordered pizza too! Nice wine and hummus and pita, brownies, and more. Just hanging out was the best. Somebody please bring Marion a Black Sapote. Thanks all for the compliments. It's been a really busy year at work. We are having a huge problem with recruitment as our employment rate is so low. There are more jobs than people here, so there's a few of us wearing more than one hat. Right now, I wear 3. So, that means long hours and weekends. When you do go home, it's just eat, laundry, sleep. It will continue like this until Nov. I was only able to do these quilts because the patterns were so simple. The first quilt pattern is called "Easy 4 Patch Quilt" by M&N pattern designs. It is super easy. I've made a couple others with this pattern as well. They all look a bit different due to making simple changes. Here are the other two with the same pattern.
