I really lack in the dept. of thinking of things to say...

If you are good at doing that...I wish you would share some of them...because that would be fun to leave some around town.

hoping the person that posted about this, sees this.. I believe it was lost when we lost all the pages.

When I pulled into a parking place last Sunday, there was an ornament right there on the ground by the car. Maybe someone left it on purpose. I put it up on the curb.

What a neat idea!

One yr we spent Easter in Vegas & I took 2 doz plastic eggs filled with jelly beans--put them in the slot trays--gave some to Taxi drivers, waitesses etc! I even put one in the church collection box- LOL! It really was a lot of fun!

Pattico...no problem at all with the verse I think it works great! The whole idea is just to spread a little holiday spirit.
This is one of the ornaments I am leaving and it is very inexspensive to make for those that have little money and would still like to do something like this. Here is a really cheap and easy craft you could try. It is actually a Martha Stewart craft and I just adapted it to a paper doily. Paper doilies here are 15 for a $1. so that is pretty cheap and yet these look quite lovely when done, at least I think so. The only thing I did diffrently was I cut a 3" circle out of card stock to give more stability to the center part. I also added a little snowflake to the center.

Thanks for thinking of me. I think the girls and I are going to work on some ornaments and then have fun leaving them around town for others to find. You never know whose life you might touch by them finding such a gift.

I wish I had time to do some before Monday.

I have to go out today...so I may pick up some doilies just in case I get more done than I expect.

We just finished a room upstairs this past week...and my son brought his living room furniture and a bunch of stuff I had stored up there, back from storage...
AND sat it in my living room , dinning area...

I've been going through it , throwing away what I could and trying to find homes for the rest of it...and putting up my Christmas decor...getting ready for a Christmas party ...HERE...on Monday afternoon....I'm swamped...

But I'd sure like to set one of those beautiful angels at each plate.

Have fun monkey! I think your children will have so much fun with it! Bake a dozen cookies for the gifts to others... put a handmade ornament from your kids on top; and you are good to go!
