:-) Sorry.. just making a joke. My DD gets so much free underwear from VS that she hasn't had to buy any in years. My DH, me and my DD all are somehow on the VS mailing list and get the 'free panty' coupons about 4 times a year... she gets about 8 pair of panties free every 12 months! (I know the math isn't right here, but sometimes all of us don't get the 'free' coupon.. it's kind of random).

I do on the otherhand, have issues with stashing important things on top of the fridge.. who knows how many things have been lost to the dustbunnies behind the fridge? Wonder if being lost in the dust renders them impotent? :P

Do your girls live close by? Could one of them have run across your envelope and taken it thinking it was meant for them?

Under a book, inside a book or magazine. on a bookshelf. Under a couch or chair cushion. Under a placemat on the dining table. I have had this same problem. Can you tell?

Thanks for all the good suggestions. I haven't had time to check them all out yet, but I did go through the newspapers and other recyclables on my lunch break. No luck so far. At least I feel confident it didn't go to the recyclers, since the oldest date in the newspaper pile was September (a month and a half before the envelope was delivered). I'll keep looking and will let you know if I find it!

And lazypup, you can fund your own panty raid! LOL!

If you come across my clear acrylic tackle box containing ALL of my earrings, please tell it to come home. I got new carpet in both bedrooms yesterday and had to clear everything out on Wednesday. I put my jewelry box and a plate that holds other jewelry in an easy to find place. Wouldn't you think the earrings would be near them? I had a heck of a time finding my walking shoes this morning. The master closet got carpeted, too, so all my shoes are hidden around the house.

Look in your car. Two years ago, I bought some wedding wrapping paper (in fact 2 identical packages) for a very large box, a hand-made quilt for my nephew and his new wife. When I went to wrap my gift, I couldn't find the paper. I had to buy more. The original never showed up. Do you believe in elves? I do.

I found my earrings on top of the entertainment center. They were near the jewelry box. I hope you find the VS undies.

I gave up and bought another round of Christmas panties at JC Penneys Friday. Then, as we knew would happen, I found the Victoria's Secret envelope this morning! It was in plain sight all the time. One problem was that it wasn't manilla, as I had thought I remembered. It was white plastic. It was lying in my bedroom with a white plastic envelope that had a prescription in it. I put them both together, thinking they were both prescriptions, I guess. This morning, I got ready to sort out a months pills into the weekly pill holders I use. I opened the first envelope and pulled out a prescription bottle. Then I opened the second envelope and pulled out panties!!! Ahh.. such is life!
