No, I don't wear hats. Wouldn't want to mess up my "do", LOL. I don't like anyone touching my hair and I certainly couldn't mess it up with a hat. My friends and family tell me I need to "chill". Good thing I live in a climate where a hat isn't necessary.

No I am not a hat person but growing up my Mom thought I was. I had to wear hats all the time and my Scottish Mom was partial to me wearing tams - yuck. I don't look good wearing a hat unless it is a wicker sun hat that covers everything including my face LOL. My face is big, red and round - definitely not a hat face.

I do wear a toque though when it is really cold out and I am taking the dog for a walk.

Growing up and all thru college we wore hats to church, college football games. After that I don't recall wearing a hat except with my going away outfit when I got married, 1962.

When my mother "left us" we had an estate sale, and I remember little girls trying on my mother's hats to purchase to play dressup. And selling her hat boxes to antique dealers who came before we had the sale.

I do wear the knit thingies to cover my head when it is cold.

Hate 'em. Not on other people. I just can't stand having anything on my head. I hate the feeling and have ever since I was a kid. I am sure I'd be much warmer in the New England winters if I'd wear hats, but I can't do it.

Although I look terrible in hats and they flatten my hair, that's not the reason. I just don't like the feeling of them.

Not a hat person. I had one hat made for me by an online friend that I wore when I had chemo and my head was bald. It had a little brim so it looked better than the others. I still have it and wear it when it's cold.....but I look kinda pitiful in a hat......I see such cute ones and some women that look so cute but not for me.....

When doing chemo, I didn't want to wear a wig because I hate wigs about as much as hats and for three or four months, I didn't want to waste money on a good one so I went without anything on my head except when I went out. As soon as I had 1/2 half inch of hair, I went every where without a hat...

I do not look good in hats but I do like hats and will try them on hoping beyond hope I find one that I can say oh look it looks cute on me, has yet to happen. I too like to wear baseball caps but the key for me is NOT to get the mens or the trucker type they just are not made for a womans head, look for the ones specially made for women they are smaller and fit much better. I just recently found one at Kroger of all places that I do like, it is white with the pink breast cancer ribbon on it and says Remember, it fits me perfectly and buying it supported a great cause.
However when I looked in the mirror I did not say oh it looks cute on me LOL. My husband (he lies) did say he thought it was very cute on me (remember he lies)! LOL

I also got the cutest winter hat at Old Navy, it is in polar fleece very bright stripes and has the flaps that cover the ears and a tassle hangs from each of the flaps and there is a tassle on the top, it was so cute I had to have it and it is extremely warm plus was only $5

Yes, love hats, Have worn them since a child to church. Still have one of my first dressy hats that I wore when I was ten. Granddaughter wears it now. Its over 60 years old , it was straw with black velvet trim, with small flowers near the band. Loved that little hat. I have continued to wear hats to church. Have all my fifties hats for playtime for the grands. We lived in Tacoma, Wa in the early 1960's and I would wear hats shopping. Ladies and men always dressed so nice when they went shopping. Now, I would not wear a hat shopping, they would think I had flipped my lid.

I don't wear hats much. Usually a straw cowboy hat in the summer that I think looks good on me.

Now I wear head bands that cover my ears in the winter. Fleece ones, stretchy knit ones. Have to have something over my ears esp. in the wind.

No, I don't wear hats, but if it is cold enough and I am outside long enough I will find a scarf to wear. When my sister and I were little, my Grandma had someone knit us each a hat. They were red, white and blue with the same color feathers stuck in them. I hated mine and would only wear it once!

I look ridiculous in most hats. I don't have the "bones" for looking good in hats.

However i am a Red hat lady so I own a LOT of hats. I embellish them to look even sillier and wear them proudly. LOL

I also have an extensive collection of costume /themed hats. I wear them on holidays (giant elf ears, leprechaun hats,etc.) and have fun with it.

Tomorrow is my DD one year wedding anniversary reception. I'll be wearing my pirate hat with skull,flashing lights and feathers.

I have a couple warm winter hats that look like stuffed animals on my head. I have a wolf and a bear.

The only hat I refuse to wear is a baseball cap. I look like someone who belongs in an institution in one (BB cap).

It gets cold around here for part of the year.

I have a few stray hairs on the top of my head.

I looked it up. So now I know.

My trademark look when I'm outside is a half visor (not a cap visor). My Facebook friends will find me wearing one in many pics in my photo albums. It's lightweight and shades my eyes from the sun without messing up my hair. That is the only hat that looks good on me and that I'm comfortable wearing.

My 25 year old daughter on the other hand LOVES hats and always has. Buying one for her as a gift is always a sure thing. I'd love to give her a hat shower for her birthday in May. Just go to thrift stores and such and buy every hat I can. She'd be so happy.

I had some time to kill while waiting for a job to come in so I put together a real quick collage of photos with her wearing a hat. Notice all the hats high and low in her bedroom.

I like hats but dont wear them very often. My sister does. We have a lady here in our small community that has about 500 or more hats she collects them and her favorite is orange ones because that was her school color. She gives presentations with them at all kinds of meetings and conventions. Last year she had a MAD HATTER PARTY as a fund raiser for our centennial. I helped her display all of her hats on the bleachers in the gymnasium. That was the only time she ever had all of them out. After that she had shelfs built in her attic and she put them all in clear plastic bags so she could see what she had. You hardly ever see her without a hat on.

I love hats and have/wear them several times a week, no matter what season it is. Luckily, I look good in them. I just bought two new ones right before Xmas. I have a gorgeous vintage one that is now back in style. It's a beauty.

PS: I'm also a scarf person too. Can't get enough of them.

I'm not a hat person at all. I have one that I only wear on my way to the mailbox when it's raining, but it's an old hat of DH's that doesn't fit either of us, much too small. I think it might be a child's hat.

I just wear it so cold drops of rain don't land on me.

Hats flatten my curly hair. When it is cold, I wear a hooded parka.

I love hats and have quite a few...mostly knitted ones for winter. I have tons of scarves too.

Jodi, I love your daughter's 20's style hats that she has on her vanity table. I would wear more of those if I had the outfits to go with them. They're gorgeous.

My hair is to thick and puffy to look good in hats; but I love them on other people!

I have around 35-40-most are visors (that has just the brim and tension sides on it) in every color of the rainbow.In winter and fall..I have a few of the beret style (or golfer's type hat)-I too, will NOT wear a baseball hat. I also have about 6 of the newsboy hats. If, when I don't wear one when I'm out? Many folks will ask me where it is. LOL! I have short frosted hair so they don't really mess up my 'do'.
