Hopefully he will be better in a few hours. Being sick at Christmas isn't fun.

Oh dear, Glenda. I am so so sorry. I remember one year when all the kids were so sick they didn't even want to open their presents. It was not fun. I hope PSR is feeling better real soon. He was smart to go to the ER. He was probably dehydrated. I say Christmas is when you all get together. You will just have to celebrate when DS is better. I'll be thinking of you.

Oh no! I remember the same scenario as above with my kids one. Thank goodness Albertsons was open. Went 3 different times for various meds. Glenda, at least he is getting medical help, you know how men are!! Hope he feels better real soon. How come the wife didn't drive him there? Where is PJR? Never a dull moment. Hope to hear an update later.

Many of these events are indeed due to "something I ate/drank". Regardless, you still feel rotten! Smart to get help. At the very least they can rehydrate him. Poor guy!

Dear Glenda, I know that you are worried to death about PSR. Did he sound okay (from your mother point of view)? I know he said not to come, but I go by "Mama Rules" and would go anyway, if it would make you feel better. Poor PJR must be worried sick about his dad, too.

What a thoughtful guy he is not to want you to come see him and risk your getting sick!!! Most men, always want thir "Mommies". I pray for a speedy recovery for him.

No word, since I talked with him this morning. Talked with GS and he hadn't either.

HOPEFULLY, wife and her brood are still at her mother's and my son is having peace and quiet and getting sleep and rest.

He'll call me later, I hope! Won't call him and told GS not to as well, as we don't want to disturb his sleeping.

I hope he is feeling better soon. My DD has been sick the last 3 days, too. She didn't even want to go to the relatives house for Christmas dinner plus she didn't want to get anyone else sick.

Just read the news. So sorry to hear this. Is this your son with your ex DIL you have runited with - if I have this correct.
You have been so happy to have a good relationship there.

I hope today brings better news. Since he is in a hospital and the tons of tests are being crossed off I know you will get back in touch here with an update.

Hope he's feeling better. For years, my hubby always got a gastro infection around Christmas. Every Christmas in the Air Force he spent in the hospital with a "bug". When I first knew him, he got sick and asked me to temporarily move into his apartment and take care of him. That was the beginning of our relationship, tho he was too sick for anything "physical" if you know what I mean. But it started our deep friendship, which later became a true romance. We found we could rely on each other.

Sounds like Glenda's DS is out of the hospital and resting alone at home.
