Very nice shot, Casey!

I'm working with my dad's pictures again. This is Margie (c. 1940s), a family friend I adored as a child. A Type 1 diabetic, Margie couldn't have children. She and her husband (whom I also adored - he was my piano teacher) tried to adopt two sisters, but complications from the diabetes got serious and she was unable to care for them. They had to give the girls back, and Margie died soon after. I think her husband kept in touch with the sisters, though. I'll have to ask someone about that.

Anyway, Margie was such a warm person, always so good to me, and so much fun.

Cute, Phyllis! Reminds me of when my son got a new kitten. Every picture was a blur or the image of a tail going off the side of the picture. What fun for you; darling little dress too.

My girlfriend and I went to an alpaca show to see the alpacas. They are so cute, but not all that friendly, although we did manage to pet a few. Their eyes are so pretty.
