Really just amazing pictures this morning, you guys!! I'm always in awe of the photos you post here. vetaal, I love you garden tender. You have beautiful garden and if you took that in the past few days, I am envious of your weather!! casey, your picture is so creative and colorful. A simple idea that is simply stunning! Amigo: As a kitten, he showed up one day and began following my husband around outside. Of course we took him in. He became my granddaughter's cat, and eventually went to live with her and her family. Amigo is a true "character"--full of personality.

A friend of mine is a photographer. She did a shoot yesterday at the pet store. Her husband was Santa, and he knew how to hold the animals properly :)

Nicole, what kind of camera did you get? Did you ask your husband for advice? :-)

I love Amigo over the years I have met two cats like him. One a thousand years ago when living in apartments We wern't llowed to have pets but an "Amigo" would show up every night and immediately whisked into the apartment My oldest son referred to him as "My Friend" He would sty a while then go home. After a year or so we followed him in the car to see where he went .He lived across the heavily trafficed Biscayne Boulevrd in Miami Fla.

The other Amigo used to visit me when I lived in Panama City Fl. He loved those Altoids mints.
I think they are born visitors. sorry to digress

Susan....My DH wants a D4x, when they come out, a full frame. :0) I on the other hand, took Ken Rockwells advice...yep ....a D7000. :0) lol So far being able to take a long exposure is the only advantage over my point & shoot. Exposure bracketing hasn't been tried and my computer software won't accept raw. lol The boat anchor I always wanted. ;0) I love the new camera bag tho! ha ha

Minnie, you would love the current Amigo, too!

Nicole, I did an Amazon search for the D4x, and this came up. Somehow I don't think this is the one your husband wants. LOL

Susan...lol Noooooooooooo......they haven't produced the one he wants ....yet. :0) You know guys....always wanting the latest toy! :0) Nikon has a D3X......so far.
