I spoil my cats all year round. Just bought them another "Ollydog" mat since they love the first one. Now they each have their own.

When my brother hosts the holiday, I will usually bring a small dog toy for his golden.

Of course. Peati always gets a bag of Billjac treats and a bag of carrots. She's never liked squeeky dog toys so I don't bother.

The dog always gets something in his stocking. The cats I've had before never got anything (they didn't care lol), but Winston is always in the middle of everything so he'll get something. He likes unwrapping gifts (I had to re-wrap some family gifts that he unwrapped last year).

But of course! They're our fur-KIDS so they must have stockings and gifts.

I always get my own dog a stocking, mainly so she'll have something "to do" while my daughters open their gifts. The dog stocking has rawhides, treats, maybe a squeekee toy or two. Last year she got "Chicken Elvis" which is her current favorite toy. I used to get little pet toys for my parents and siblings dogs. Not any more. I've cut drastically down.

The top row is all for the cats and dogs of the family...plus there is a new one for a Very spoiled Schnauzer this year. And yes...I try to put a little something in each of theirs.

Dh usually makes a run to Petsmart for some toys and goodies for the doggies...he goes wild! Precious doesn't care but gets a few goodies in her stocking as well!!

Mine always get presents too. I think they know and get excited once the tree is up.

Yep they get treats and toys. Last year they got a hamster in a ball, they loved chasing it! But they tire of things so we put them away and bring them out at a later date.

I used to when i did buy Christmas gifts. I remember one year I bought raw hide bones for our two dogs and Son's two dogs. Their family were up for the holiday and his Cocker, Ebineezer, was hind-end deep under the tree. , among the many wrapped presents. Guess he could smell the bones. When he came out, Lo and behold, he had the package with his name on it. guess he could read. LOL a day after Christmas, obviously one of the dogs was not impressed with their gift, because i found one buried in the cat litter box. Dottie

Ha, ha, Dotmom. That reminded me of years ago if I had some rolls go stale, I would give them to the outside dog. She would take them and bury them! I guess she liked them aged.

Yes, Rufus always gets a new toy and some treats in his stocking. This year his toy is one of the new no stuffing pets that is long and he can shake it all he wants. We found it at Bed, Bath and Beyond, his is a monkey.

DD does, I do not. But now that we have a new little one, I may give in this year..... Just to keep her busy while we open presents and eat LOL!

of course! i spend almost as much on them as i do on DH lol, he never wants me to buy him anything, i do anyway! they have their own stockings and i don't buy their stuff while they are at the pet stores w/ us and i hide it lol. one yr sandy saw a huge toy and jumbones i had stashed in DH's big closet and everytime i walked near there she got excited and would act like i was getting the toy & treats out :-)

this yr since they will be 11 yrs old next yr i am getting less bad treats and mass amounts of toys and getting them more time w/ the accupuncturist & massage therapist, their yrs are starting to show in their activity levels :-( oh and i am trying to find a ramp for my SUV, my DH is hurting his back lifting tracey in and out every weekend. ~ liz

Last year I made dog treats from scratch. Made them in a bone shape and gave them to all my friends and neighbors with dogs.
I did try cat treats too, but picky kitty eaters are harder to please.

Do you think with a name like "pekemom" Caesar wouldn't get Christmas presents? His favorite "gift" is always some of our Christmas dinner though. Love to hear how all of you spoil your pets.

I mailed my grand-pup a Christmas card today. Ridiculous, I know!!! His "parents" won't be getting a card, just Oski.
