I haven't forgotten you, It was super busy last week I had a major landscape project being installed at my friends so between that and school and trying to track down wiis(lol why everyone thinks I am good at this because I found 2 so they think i can find one for them confuses me) I haven't been on line much.

heading to the gym at 9 to "spin away" some of the "omgtheholidayisalmosthereiamnotready" stress lol

I had no idea what a 'wiis' was, so did some searching and found several for free at eBay.

What the heck is up with all the free ones on eBay? What is the scam going on?...it is a scam, isn't it? I really didn't understand it all and am not interested in answering the ad, but am just wondering what it is all about.

I'd think if it was a scam (the instructions say to "not bid on it",) that eBay would have them deleted by now.

Ideas anyone?

Nancy, I keep their compartment doors shut until I see them sitting on top of the house each year. They make it very easy for me because they arrive almost the same day of the month every year. Then I open the doors and they set up housekeeping and I don't think any birds we have will bother them then. They are pretty feisty. But you don't want to let some other bird get into their house and set up houskeeping before they do. Then when they say goodbye and leave I clean out their compartments and shut the doors again until the next year. This year hubby and I left for 2 weeks before they left. The day we returned we were out by the pond and they flew down around us twittering, very obviously saying goodbye. The next day they were gone. It was as though they were waiting for our return to leave. I haven't had any problems so far... We are planning to put up more houses for them next year. Glenda

When I tried to track my package the recorded voice told me the package HAD ARRIVED at MY HOUSE the day they picked it up! (UPS.com said the same thing) When I finally got a live person they told me the number was recycled; i.e. used again for it's journey to the East Coast but the technology hadn't recognized the fact. Said it was set to arrive Thursday and it did. But for awhile I was afraid it was coming back!

We women are usually good about taking ourselves for check ups, mammograms, colonoscopys, etc, our men are not. Make it a priority to make that appt. for him, and make him keep it. Go with him. I wasn't as good as I should have been and I should know better. I'm a nurse. DH put it off and put it off. I bugged him, I cajoled him, I made appts and let it go. (One MD had the audacity to ask him why he felt he needed to be seen!)He never went back. He felt fine, he wasn't overweight, he was active. I was too busy caring for my dying mother. After spending a weekend with her after a long week at work, he came to me Sunday morning. He had just started a culinary arts program and had felt worn out. Now his feet were swollen. I took him straight to the ER, my worse fears were that this was the only way to get him to a Dr.(through the ER) He went without a word, he was scared. That was April. His heart was failing due to arrythmias. Its been a long road, but he is doing better. He has never seen so many Drs. and followed my advice more closely. It could have been worse. Make sure your DH is taking care of himself.

there was a story on the news yesterday that some stores are selling them for $600, the basic one is $249 but you know how things get with the "popular" gift of the season.

I got one for hubby for xmas but decided to give it to him last week for his birthday so he would really be surprised.

lol I would of never guessed that I would love playing this game.
it is interactive so believe it or not you get a good workout.
for those of you that aren't familiar you actually move like you are golfing,bowling boxing

I did an hour on the treadmill. First time in about a month. I gained back four pounds during that time. ) :
