It snowed yesterday but by evening it was raining and all the snow was gone.

Thanks Vicki. The web site over the years has generated emails from a number people whose lives were touched by my father in ways I can't even fathom. One man told me he has kept a scrapbook as a sort of shrine to my father. Old girlfriends, classmates, students of his boxing school, neighbors, etc. have all Googled his name, found the site and written me. I recently got an email from an 80+ year old woman who attended art school with him. She told me the only reason she didn't date dad was that she towered over him by about a foot. LOL Jodi-

My DH was in a group like Peter, Paul and Mary back in the 60s. They were called Me, Him and Her. In September of this year he had a 40 year class reunion and got together with "Her". They put on a mini-concert. Unfortunately "Me" was due to go in for triple bypass the next day and couldn't make it. This is my Him (DH) and Her belting out their version of "Leaving on a Jet Plane". Dave,I've looked at your website more than once and noted down the camera and lens you use to get these dazzlingly detailed zoom shots. Then I always manage to misplace my notes, probably because I know I can't justify buying another camera at this point. I'm guessing you use a tripod, yes? I've always been so lazy about that. I need to improve! Anyway, that's a great moon photo.

I managed to get a photo of an Indigo Bunting this summer at my feeder. They very rarely will come to a feeder. I was so surprised, I took about a hundred pictures!

Another picture from the Lawrence,KS Christmas Horse Parade on Saturday.

This guy was laughing at me while we waited for the parade to start. His handler would let the other horses get way ahead, and then he'd have these two prance/trot to catch up, which made their bells jingle loudly. See their hooves painted for Christmas?

Hawks in the big tree in my back yard. They come back every year. Male and female. I see them every winter come to the same tree , same branch, every morning looking for breakfast. I love it! He calls her, it's beautiful!

WOW What amazing pics today!!!! Beautiful Casey, Dave...your pics are fantastic! Love the snow pics and all the birds...I saw a blue bunting this summer, but could only get a pic through the screen...beautiful! People are great!

But, I have to say that Romeo is the best! Such a handsome boy! I just love cats...what can I say!

Flyn, is kitty a ragdoll? Animal Planet had a program on cats the other evening, and one of the featured breeds was the ragdoll. They seem like nice cats to me because they don't climb or jump up too much, unlike my little troublemaker. LOL!
