Couple new Grant pics

I took Grant to have pictures done today, with his scabs on his nose and all!! :-)

Last Sunday he fell face first into the edge of a cement/rock fountain we have in the yard. I had planned to take hims pics earlier this week but his nose and forehead were pretty swollen so I waited.

Anyway, here's a couple of the pics. His hair isn't red at all but for some reason it looks it in these pictures. He turned 17 months old this last Wednesday (WHERE DOES THE TIME GO????)

Patrick, Is that cedar mulch that you are using on the top of the soil in your pots? I have not bee mulching the top soil of my potted hippies and probably need to since weeds are popping up like crazy! I also wish the try the method that you are using on your Papilio. You've got red noodles!!!! We are growing those for the first time this year. What do you think of them? I think they are the best. And I just love the flowers, don't you? Your flowers look great. I really like that celosia. When I was a little kid my mother made a 3ft by 3ft garden for each of us and we each got to pick our own pack of seeds. Like the green house it looks like the one I just got off ebay, to replace a smaller one, there great for growing cactus, epi and orchids plus so many other plants, I have a few months to go before I can get mine set up with 4ft of snow on the ground

Just wonderful to see new ones in bloom, isn't it? I love Sp. Sea Shells every time I see it. The green on the second Paul Owen seedling really looks nice. I have been waiting to see pic of Grant! Steph, he is just beautiful! And you are right, time sure is going by, and he is growing so fast. It seems like yesterday, we heard you were pregnant with him. Pics are great, scabs and all. He looks like a happy little guy.

Those are great timeless and classic photos, Steph! I can't believe what a good looking little kid you have, I'm not surprised, but he's stunningly handsome. And the scabs just make him more little-boyish! What a great job you're doing as a mom. He does look happy!

He IS adorable! I love the pictures you share of him.

My youngest has a picture with his face all banged up too. Kids are kids...that picture will be a favorite years from now.

Pictures with "boo boos" are pictures that become favourites and will have many tales to tell way into the future.

Grant sure is a sweety. I love his little hands. I bet one day he will learn to make beautiful things with them just like his Daddy.

He's so adorable in his Christmas sweater. Is he as easy about having his picture taken as it looks? It always looks like he knows exactly when to smile. Christmas sure will be fun at your house this year.

With the haircut, the banged up face, his grown up outfit, he is certainly now a 'young man'. What fun this Christmas is going to be at your house with him at this age!!

He is just the cutest little boy!!! Years from now you will all look back at this picture, instead of saying "Aw, wasn't he cute at that age." You will be saying, "Remember that year! Grant fell and scratched his nose and we had to wait to take picture......." Even the booboo's make fun memories.
