Happy 9th Anniversary MrMorton and Nan MrMorton ~ May you and Nan have many, many more happy years together. It sounds like you definitely have a busy month ahead of you. Happy Birthday to Benjamin. Enjoy that Bon Jovi concert. I also think it a wonderful, loving idea that your Grandfather wants to take you all out in celebration for his 65th wedding anniversary. Love is eternal. Please post some wintry scenes here as I for one don't get enough of seeing the snowy beauty that you all have. Have a wonderful month MrMorton. It's good that you have a busy month, because February can be brutal, this way you have lots of good things to look forward to, and pretty soon spring will be here and you can plant your lovely gardens once again. Lorna ~ That was a spectacular photo. I loved it. What is the plant covered in that white frozen stuff? We had a very warm, humid day, up to around 80. I think we had a couple of days of winter weather, and maybe a couple of days of spring, and now it looks like we are heading into an early summer. Dang. We need rain too. FlowerLady

We really enjoy CSI, all of them. Usually only watch the 11pm show though. I like the amount of advertizing ('cause I have time then to do the whole day's dishes that I didn't do during the day.) CSI is about the only show I watch these days 'cause I am either working on business stuff or working outside in the yard and only have time to sit down after dark. Now, dark is after 10 pm already. I really enjoy gardening shows on TV but in the last few years the quality of the gardening shows has gone 'down the tubes'. We used to get shows about the plants, about how to do things in your garden, shows that taught you something about gardening. I really enjoyed Ken Beattie's show, 'Get Growing' on Saturday am until they cancelled it last year. Now, the new thing out is to quickly make over one yard and since the neighbor has the identical backyard, let's see what each landscaper can do to make them look different. No information about the plants is given. So...I am tempted to cancel HGTV. In the summer when I want to work outside that is when the TV producers used to air the gardening shows...not in the winter when I had the time to sit down for the evening. Now, it doesn't make any difference 'cause there are no really good informative gardening shows on anyways. There...my 'beef' for the day. Brenda

I voted in my office pool while on the way to meet with the realtor and I voted for Kris to win. The fellow running it texted me back and asked if I was sure because everyone else was voting for Adam so I told him Kris yes Kris. I ended up placing 5th out of 26 so I am pleased although I did not win any cash LOL!! I missed the first hour but made it home for the Queen and Kiss performance....OMG!!! Adam would be perfect in either band!! I think Brian May (the guitarist from Queen) saw that Adam would be perfect too!! In regard to the voting...I thing that a lot of folks just assumed Adam would win and so they did not vote-or maybe they tried to vote but got a busy signal and figured he was going to win....shame because he really was fantastic. Yes Adam did get America to watch Idol again and he deserves praise for that!! The part of the show I saw was really good! Amy taped the whole thing so after my chores I will sit and watch. So no more Idol, Survivor or DwtS....no worries!!! Looks like Jon and Kate are back on with their show (I bet it'll be tough to watch) and it only a few short weeks till Big Brother-my personal fave reaity show starts!! Hopefully with Julie Chen preggers they'll get someone with a personality to host it this time!! LOL!! Cheers! Susie PS....way to go Kara!! You my dear stole the show!!

I think it will come down to the two Davids also. I think younger David is a cutie, but he's not very well rounded in terms of singing. He sings great but all his songs sound the same to me. He lacks creativity, but he's young and has a long way to go. And also, when Ryan asks him questions, he seems like he has a hard time publicly speaking, he gets tongue tied in his words. But he'll do fine in the long run; he's had alot of exposure on AI. I think David Cook will win, however, but I dont worry about him if he doesnt. I think he'll end up just like Chris Daughtry and be successful no matter what, and hopefully if he does win, he'll still be able to make the kind of album he wants to make with his own input and creativity. Brooke...I agree, she is way too pouty. It's time for her to go. Syesha, she did great this week. I dont think she'll make it til the end, but she's got a great voice and is gorgeous. Jason, I can't figure him out. His eyes are dreamy but it's time for him to go! Like David A., his songs all sound the same to me too. He's not well rounded either.
