I think we had a couple of days of winter weather, and maybe a couple of days of spring, and now it looks like we are heading into an early summer. Dang. We need rain too. FlowerLady

We really enjoy CSI, all of them. Usually only watch the 11pm show though. I like the amount of advertizing ('cause I have time then to do the whole day's dishes that I didn't do during the day.) CSI is about the only show I watch these days 'cause I am either working on business stuff or working outside in the yard and only have time to sit down after dark. Now, dark is after 10 pm already. I really enjoy gardening shows on TV but in the last few years the quality of the gardening shows has gone 'down the tubes'. We used to get shows about the plants, about how to do things in your garden, shows that taught you something about gardening. I really enjoyed Ken Beattie's show, 'Get Growing' on Saturday am until they cancelled it last year. Now, the new thing out is to quickly make over one yard and since the neighbor has the identical backyard, let's see what each landscaper can do to make them look different. No information about the plants is given. So...I am tempted to cancel HGTV. In the summer when I want to work outside that is when the TV producers used to air the gardening shows...not in the winter when I had the time to sit down for the evening. Now, it doesn't make any difference 'cause there are no really good informative gardening shows on anyways. There...my 'beef' for the day. Brenda

I voted in my office pool while on the way to meet with the realtor and I voted for Kris to win. The fellow running it texted me back and asked if I was sure because everyone else was voting for Adam so I told him Kris yes Kris. I ended up placing 5th out of 26 so I am pleased although I did not win any cash LOL!! I missed the first hour but made it home for the Queen and Kiss performance....OMG!!! Adam would be perfect in either band!! I think Brian May (the guitarist from Queen) saw that Adam would be perfect too!! In regard to the voting...I thing that a lot of folks just assumed Adam would win and so they did not vote-or maybe they tried to vote but got a busy signal and figured he was going to win....shame because he really was fantastic. Yes Adam did get America to watch Idol again and he deserves praise for that!! The part of the show I saw was really good! Amy taped the whole thing so after my chores I will sit and watch. So no more Idol, Survivor or DwtS....no worries!!! Looks like Jon and Kate are back on with their show (I bet it'll be tough to watch) and it only a few short weeks till Big Brother-my personal fave reaity show starts!! Really thought that Lee showed more personality this week in his performance and I just really LIKE him. Love Crystal's voice and she seems to have the kind of old soul to go with the songs she sings. Twinkie and I both were laughing when DiDi did You're No Good. We both kept saying to the tv - well, neither are you! LOL (Doesn't take much to keep us entertained! LOL) Have never thought Andrew was that strong a contender. I like Aaron. Think he is wonderfully talented and especially for his age - really poised and has stage presence. Sioban is so funny. She gets on stage and she's a wild woman. They interview her and she's this little "funny little thing", as Simon called her. She does have a good voice. If it weren't for the Vote for the Worst Idol site, Tim Urban would have gone home weeks ago. My favorites? Crystal, Siobhan, Lee. Casey will probably be in the top 3-4 but I don't know if he should be, or not.
