Common Catsear, Hypochoeris radicata.

I have Dallisgrass and this side by side in some spots, so I don't think it's a difference in soil. As for pulling it out, when you grab a handful of stems and pull, it looks to be shallowly rooted and pull free pretty easily. The Dallasgrass is rooted much better and usually requires some digging to get the root pulled free. Just a comparison picture. This is what I've always known as Dallisgrass. And a side shot showing the seedheads up right now. The Dallisgrass from the first image is in the picture (in the red box) as well for comparison. Same area of yard, two different appearing grasses.

I looked up images online and I think it may be a Euonymus at least, though I think it may be a groundcover variety considering how little it is (and that I know it's been a couple years since anyone planted anything in this yard!) Thank you!!

Def. Cherry Laurel. Take care when pruning/removing, as the sap can irritate your skin. We've dug up the roots before, and couldn't help but notice how much like Vick's Cherry cough drops the smell was!
