Thanks for the heads up, jas. I've set my recorder. Big day tomorrow, first the parade and then the dog show! I'd better get back to work in the kitchen. I think I'll just make some apple crisp instead of a pie. DH is not a pie lover and apple crisp is easier.

Since it is broadcasted by NBC, I would bet that you'll have no worries. It comes on at noon everywhere, after Macy's parade.

Most people don't know that the National was really conducted earlier this month and the Thanksgiving tradition is taped programming. The results are a closely guarded secret, that's for sure.

Oh, I thought that John Hurley said it started at 1, when he was talking to Matt Lauer. I just don't want it to be taken over by football, but our local Toronto station is showing all 3 games today!!!

I fondly remember a year when the pekingese won at Westminster. My relatives said they "threw it a bone" LOL
