I turned the leftover slow-cooked pork and sauce into pulled pork sandwiches. Made coleslaw and fried some mashed potatoes.

Was kinda eh! Panera bread for smoked ham and swiss on rye. Had better elsewhere.

I bought Italian sausage and yams at Fresh Market, cause it's gonna be a rainy day, Sunday, and I'm cooking.

Glenda, I just love Fresh Market. The produce department is just beautiful! So is the bakery, but sadly, I found it looks better than it tastes. As of now, 'Bama has a 14 point lead. It sure is hard to keep up with the games today when Harry flips the channel every 5 minutes--grrr!

Jasdip, what cut of pork do you use in the crockpot? Also, I love fried mashed potatoes (we used to call them potato cakes), but mine fall apart. Got a secret to share?

Patti, I usually buy a pork loin in a large plastic bag. I cut off the nice end into boneless pork chops, till it gets a little rough looking, then I make it into one or 2 roasts. It's usually an uneven hunk of meat, not nicely formed like a loin roast you'd buy in the store.
Maybe it's a butt roast, I don't know. As you know any cheaper cut of meat is best in the slow-cooker.

With my mashed having butter and milk in, I put butter in the skillet and use a fork to mash flatten it in the skillet. Brown and turn (in sections). Mmmmm love the crust.

Meatloaf, scalloped potatoes and green beans cooked in beef broth.

I had the whole T-day plate. It was good. DH just wanted a turkey sandwich so he took care of himself.

Glenda, I love Panera's Asian chicken salad. I don't much get beyond that when we go.

The turkey was undercooked on the inside, hard and crusty on the outside so last night I took what was left of it and made turkey soup. That's what me and Sola had. Other two are at their father's still so they're probably eating there.

Oooh, Gadgets, that sounds so good! I'll add your meal to my meal planner. We're going to have a few cold days and that will be nice a warming.

Georgysmom, my mouth is watering for your T'giving plate or the sandwich. I like cranberry sauce on mine. Yum!

We got home from our trip about 2:30. I fixed ham steaks with pineapple, brown sugar, pineapple juice and mustard. Also had mashed potatoes and peas. Gave some peas to Smokey as they are his favorite. The other two cats think he's weird.

We stumbled upon a deli in downtown Colorado Springs that had Sabrett's hotdogs and onion sauce and half sour pickles. The look on my SO's face was absolutely priceless! The owner took his picture to put in the front window as a genuine NY'er. He's from Long Island, and has cravings for real food from home. HE FINALLY FOUND SOME!
