Since seven of us went out to eat this afternoon at Captain D's I will not want any thing this evening. Of course had the fried fish, fried okra, broccoli, and a yummy bread stick plus all the unsweetened iced tea I could drink.

Glad you liked the Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie. I agree with the sugar and cinnamon. I think if I make it again, I too would cut down on the cinnamon sugar mixture. However, I highly recommend the honey. It does add a nice dimension to it. We went to Wine and Cheese tonight. Everyone brings an appetizer and the host couple provides the wine. There was overkill on pigs in a blanket. LOL Anyway, that will serve as dinner for us. I posted on Saturdays I'll share my recipe if you'll share yours about the honey but I'm sure it was way after you had made the dessert. Do try the chicken pot pie recipe. I think it's really good. I'll let you know how it is with turkey.

Oh the Sopapilla sounds so good, and I would definitely use the honey, cut down on the sugar but the flavor of the honey would be enhanced.

I have been sick most of the week, between that and the kittens and game commission we didn't leave the house. So today we had to get our holiday grocery shopping done. While we were out we bought some roasted chicken added salad and green beans and that was dinner. Since that was at 2 we are now just having crudites, fruit, meat and cheese.

uggghhh...I am having chicken chop suey for the 3rd day! Since dh is gone for a week I wanted to spend my time gift making/crafting. I made this huge pot of it and will have to freeze some....to much! Pretty good though; I tried Ellie Krieger from the Food Network's recipe.

Would you mind posting the Chop suey recipe Juellie? That's one thing I've never tried.

We had chicken soft tacos, made with a Kroger roasted chicken. The kind you get already cooked in the bag. They're so yummy with onions, lettuce, Tostitos chunky salsa, & Mexican blend cheese. Sometimes I like to make them with bbq sauce instead of the salsa...so good.

All these dinner ideas sound so good.

We had fresh, broiled venison tenderloin, baked potatoes, brown beans, and carrots.
