If you have an Iphone or Ipad and don't mind spending the $.99 to download the app, you must play Heads Up. It's a modern day charades game and it is hilarious for a crowd. Only two people play at a time but I think it's more fun for the people watching.

No iPhone or iPad, but it sounds great. Ellen is the one who got me to buy Taboo; she said she loves playing it with her friends.

I have Cards Against Humanity, it's a lot of fun but definitely is for adults and not for easily embarrassed or people uncomfortable with crude humor! If you have the right mentality it's great fun and hilarious. I hear Apples to Apples is the PG version but I haven't tried it.

I do board game nights and the table always laughing the most and loudest is the Cards Against Humanity table :)

We love Trivial Pursuit.

Logo is a fun game for a crowd!! We used to play it about every weekend when all the kids were over.

Catch phrase....you can buy the game at a place like Target. Or if someone has a smartphpne, download it. (more fun on the mobie device).

Its sorta, kinda, like the old Password game.

LCR, the more players the better. Moves fast, easy to learn. Can be played by 90 yr olds, 3 yr old and drunks. You can get a set at Walgreen's.

If your group likes trivia games, Mindstein is really fun. It's not just trivia, but also figuring out words and collecting chips, so the trivia geniuses aren't always the winners.

Mexican train is a fun game. Not sure the number of players. Have played 6.

I think Balderdash is a great game. A group of us get together every month and we love to play it.

My granddaughter wanted a game for Christmas called Logo Party. It is a board game and looks like it would be fun. You guess the product from the logo clue given.

Catchphrase and Apples to Apples are popular here. If you have a set of dominoes Chicken Foot is fun.

What about the old standard Pictionary? You play with teams and it's fun watching how different people draw. We have enjoyed this game for years.

My grandsons love the "5 Second Rule Game". We all played it recently...and it was fun (especially since I won).

Pictionary Man and Apple to Apple is what we play a lot when the family comes.
The are both fun for all ages.(except real small ones...we throw a movie in the DVD player and get out grandma's toy box for them.

Back in the day before we got pot belly's and wrinkles, about 8 of us adult women and men played strip poker about twice a month. This was when we were stationed in Goose Bay Labrador.
Something to do on those long cold, boring week end nights. We had strict rules, no one could get completely nude.

Do they still sell the Bop-It? That toy is a riot. We play Fact of Crap with friends.

Neighbors get together to play Battle of the Sexes. Don't need a certain number to play and the three choices given for each, are pretty easy most of the time. Fun game.

My favorite is Apples to Apples, and team trivia. Usually guys against the girls. Bunco is always fun, and mindless. Give out prizes for most Buncos, etc.

Nod702, I hope you had a good heating system. LOL I played a lot of poker in my youth, but never strip poker. Nor did we skinny dip. I guess we were a modest bunch.

So many good suggestions--thank you, everyone!! I've added a bunch to my Wish List and will have to made a decision or two. I must eliminate anything involving drawing, as two of the members of my game group are professional artists. Even when they have to draw blindfolded (as in Cranium), they blow the rest of us away.

We love anything that involves words, wit, and creativity, and some of these really fit the bill. I'm thinking Balderdash might be right up our alley. (My dad's expressions are starting to sound awfully old-fashioned.) :-)
