Have you tried just going to a music store and sitting down with the salesperson that specializes in guitars ? That really is a great way to find out what works. Also if need be make an appt to assure that you get quality time. Also look into lessons and renting an instrument. Check on the bulletin board/ask the music store people who is a good inst. Ask at the local music college/dept. Most have inst. and instruments so she can try different kinds. She will need easy strings at first due to her fingers being soft and then gradually gain in toughness...all things her teacher will tell her. Also the width of the fret will make a big difference since her hands are probably tiny too. All in all she needs to talk to a teacher and a good sales person at a good and reliable store. c

LMAO...(although M & M's make good game pieces, too). They wouldn't last long with me and GF...I think we both unthinkingly just put whatever is edible at hand in our mouths...compulsive eaters when we get together. I like to be a great hostess and have lots of good stuff for eating/snacking while we play. I suspect game nights has put a few pounds on me.
