Words with Friends players?

It seems I came late to the game...

I was playing with my niece and nephew but I think they were just doing it to humor their "old aunt" and took days to make their next word. My SIL and I play all the time, but I'd like to find more people to play with. My user name is Crm.

lunamoon, no sweat, I have been there, and it is NO FUN. my first child was 3 mo. old when he got sick, and he did not get better til he was 8 mo. old, I was going from doctor to doctor, first one said it was pnemonia (sp) second one said he had RSV, FINALLY a doctor asked me if we had any cats in the house, yeah a long haired tortise shell siamese mix and a persian mix, had to give my cats away and about a month later when I was hopping mad at the doc for mis diagnosing him again and making me get rid of my pets, he got better! All the dander had to be removed from the house as well, and duh I didn't think about that! He now has no allergies to cats, he out grew it, but he was one sick baby for a long time! michelle

I'm not sure about that, but I have a question. Several times, towards the final moments of a game when I'm just a few points behind but with several tiles left and the opportunity to make a "good" word, I get notification that I've lost. I'm not shown what word my opponent has just formed, but the game is over. I don't believe she's used all of her tiles, so why is this happening?

No - but i am totally addicted to Word Warp - it gives you 5 letters and you have to arrange them in as many words as possible in 2 minutes. If you get at least one of the longest words you go on to the next level. I play it on my iTouch/iPad. You play as a single player - and you don't have to be online to play it. Totally ADICTIVE! It was free.

I had that problem with the Practice games. The computer never played its turn and I couldn't resign the game since you can only resign when it's your turn. There was an update about a month later and it came back. Try messaging them on their Facebook page. I did that for Candy Crush and they fixed the problem.

I haven't received your invites to play. I've tried upgrading the game and it said welcome back Crm.60 Maybe I had my user name wrong?? I'm not sure.

Couldn't find you by that moniker, but when I left out the period I found "somebody". I am 4mudpie2. If I found the wrong person, you can use my user name to start a game with me. I am addicted to WORDS WITH FRIENDS.

Shelgal, you'll need to create a username. Then click on create game. You can start a game by putting in a username. Since I seem to be having a problem receiving the message that says someone has invited me to play, please post your username here once you're set up.

Oops! Guess there ISN'T always room for more, LOL. I tried to start a game with you and got the message that I have the maximum number of games going. As soon as a game ends I will start one with you.

Never tried fast play. Is that what you want when I start the game?

Yah it's cool but I don't know if everyone has the newer version. What's your username? If you don't have fast play, we can play regular classic version! How awesome to play with someone who likes to garden too :)

I'm 4mudpie2. I've been getting little nudges to play fast play recently and declined each time. But I'm willing to give it a try. Garden's not doing so well this year. I think the bugs are winning, LOL.

I am trying to finish some games and also waiting for people to make their moves. I wished WWF would allow us to leave games because sometimes people get too busy and forget to play their games. I will try to start a game with you when I get a chance. Thanks to carabubble for starting this thread so I can have some HOUZZ friends to play on WWF.

Happy Friday everyone!! This helps me keep busy while I am sick with a cold plus dealing with a sick household.

Bluee19, on the original WWF you can "resign". At the lower left MORE with an up arrow, there is the resign option.
