Did you have any trouble voting?

Right off the bat I am NOT asking who you voted for, so don't tell me! What I want to know is if you had to contend with long lines or too aggressive 'poll watchers' insisting on shoving that printed literature into your hands!

DW & DD#2 voted around lunchtime; they were #256 & 257 at our polling place. They walked right in - no lines, only 2 persons sitting outside who did not bother them.

I got home from work around 4:25 pm. DD#3 and I went over right then. It was her first vote so I thought I'd go with her. One person arrived in front of us, another was already inside the building. I was asked 'Do you want a sample ballot?' by a person outside. 'No, thanks.' That was it.

We were in & out in under 5 minutes; numbers 355 & 356 - The highest ever by around 75. For the first time ever I got a 'Thanks for voting.' from one of the people outside. I don't know what stripe she was and she didn't know who I voted for (like you). But it was the first time I ever left the polling place without Feeling like Claude Rains (The Invisible Man).

So, how did you make out?
