Cattman, Got several pups including the Kru and Red Iholene. They are still in the ground. Some are big and need to be picked up - shipping would be too expensive. Have been a member of this forum and bananas.org for some time. Have been growing naners for 30 years. Since I live in zone 9B, Port St Lucie, Fl recently decided to replace all the reds with more cold resistant varieties. Last winter killed off all the big ones except Goldfinger and Hua Moa. After 2 years of no frost. All the pups survived though. I invite you to drop by and save yourself the shipping and dealing with wimpy TC seedlings. As for neighbors complaining about untidy appearance all that is needed is trimming off leaves as they turn brown -- weekly during the growing season. Tuesday was a great day ;) DD, well, I actually finished the English classes with the "mad" teacher at the end of June and started a new one with a "normal" teacher at the same time ; these classes were great and interesting and fortunately, I didn't hear stupid things about the Anglo-Saxons any more ;) Well, if I didn't met so many nice, skilled, smart friends, I wouldn't have been able to put all together - you were my inspiration in writing and your pictures are the dresses of the pages. Before getting to this forum, my house was so ugly and then I met you all and got some ideas on how to improve it. First thing was to buy new furniture for the living room and everyone who comes to my home tells me that they really like it as it is now - without you, I wouldn't have done anything! Indeed, Squidoo is a great resource on many things such as Halloween but I don't think it could compete against the brains that live in this forum! The teacher told my that I passed the exam with success. I'm not really satisfied by the result but whenever I take an exam, my brain gets empty within seconds and it's almost impossible mission to remember something.

Lana,thank you so much for posting.I just couldn't come here before tonight. Jim came through the surgery like the trooper that he is.He is home already.They kept him for a few hours then let him come home.He says that he can feel the difference in both legs already.The doctor was pleased how well it went and how well he is responding.Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers.You know how much I believe in and count on prayers. I know that a lot of you know the pain that we are feeling with our loss of Sandy. I am just thankful that she was not home alone while she was leaving us.She gave us 14 wonderful years and she is now at rest.

Should I do that pattern again, I'll make the side triangls from a very large square and cut corner to corner so there won't be a bias on the outside! Please excuse any typos as my eyes are still dilated from being at the opthamologists......he's sending me to a cornea specialist. SharonG/FL
