I just made my first roasted Brussels sprouts

I don't know why it took me so long......I've been hearing for years how wonderful they are! My favorite way to use Brussels sprouts (fresh--never frozen) is to thickly slice and stir-fry them. But I have to say these roasted Brussels sprouts are now tied with the stir-frying for first place. Really delicious!!

I used this recipe, although I cut my sprouts in half and used a 375-degree oven, raising it to 400 only for the last 5 or 10 minutes. I'm sorry to say I didn't keep track of the time, so I don't know how long they cooked altogether.

I let mine get dark brown, not black. Since they were cut in half, letting them get black would probably have incinerated them. But these are perfect.
