He's adorable. Such big eyes. I had to put my cat Whisper down last summer, and I asked my husband for a kitten for Christmas, but he said no. Maybe I can ask again.

Thanks for all the info, guys! I will pass on the information you all have provided. This lady saw a picture in a sales paper. She said that they were expensive. Like lillie said, these dogs are all going to look a little different and have different coats. I think that still happens in purebred dogs too. Susan - You are right!!!!! There are too many good dogs (mutts & purebreeds) in shelters because of "backyard" breeders. I got my cocker from my sister-in-law. She was breeding cockers to make some money. That didn't go like she planned it to. She ended up giving the puppies away. I found our second dog. I have no clue what she is. She has what I would call the body type of a lab, she is between 45-50# and she is brindle (mostly a chocolate color with some orange barring) with a medium? hair coat. Then our third dog was given to us. He is a beagle. Some one dumped him and the other people took him in until he was given to us. I think he was maybe someone hunting dog that was too gun shy. He can sure tree a cat, but he LOVES our pet rabbit. Go figure! You have to watch how you discipline him because he will pee himself. He is a sweet dog otherwise.
