I too love actual clocks - we have a lovely living room wall clock and I have a kitchen clock. When I'm moving around the place I need to see the time some days. I'd love to own a grandfather clock one day.

I have wall clocks and desk clocks....I think they're pleasing to look at...

I do like wall clocks, and getting a moisture-resistant one for the bathroom is on my list.

I like wall clocks. I have a large one over my fireplace mantle and another down in the basement as well as a Las Vegas dice wall clock in my poker themed bathroom.

I love wall clocks. When we changed from daylight savings time last month, I forgot to change the wall clock in my kitchen. Well, actually, it involved standing on a chair and I didn't want to bother...

I have them in almost ever room also. Just love them.

We have wall clocks in nearly every room in the house including the bathrooms. But my favorite is my Japanese clock in the kitchen. Instead of numbers it uses the Japanese kanji characters.

I have them all over the house 2 with Christmas Carols 2 with bied songs 1 with dogs barking and am thinking of the one with cat meows!!Some go off at the same time others a few minutes apart

we have one battery operated clock on the livingroom wall. All the other clocks in the house are electric, so if the power goes out, we can time it till it comes back on.LOL

have one in the kitchen on a china plate. one in the br but it's never worked...my ab-fab though is one dh bought me eons ago...one that chimes..

then i have a collection of sorts..several lenox, one beleek (sp) and a waterford crystal teddy bear...oh forgot the fun one made of grey plastic gears...

We love clocks too - vintage ones that have character and chime or at the very least strike the hour and quarter hour. We have 3 grandfather clocks - one is a rare Austrian regulator floor clock from the early 1800's with a hidden compartment and three mantel clocks (no they're not all on the same mantel). We also have 2 old wall clocks.

I love 12 noon so that I can stand in my hall and listen to the various chimes. When I wind them weekly I make sure they're not set for the exact same time so that I can hear them individually.

My husband loves clocks and has a HUGE collection of them (all working). Some are wall clocks--as a matter of fact, we have 2 wall clocks hanging in the kitchen and I'm looking for one more for over the sink.

We have a wall clock in most rooms in both houses. Some are simple wood-framed ones, one's a replica of a schoolhouse clock. One is a pretty little one with the clock at the top and dried flowers at the bottom. We have a huge wallclock in the basement. DH has a neon wall clock on EVERY interior wall of the garage, and one on the front of it.

Along with those, we have: a grandfather clock, a mantel clock, a couple of iron pedestle clocks. One really neat one is a huge clock that's the top of a round end table (under glass).

I love having a clock so that I can see the time wherever I'm sitting or working in the house. And DH just loves having as many interesting ones as he can find. He's just dying to have one of the custom neon ones made for our kitchen, but it's going to be a while before I can see my way clear to spending close to $1000 for a clock. They are really, really cool-looking, though.

I have a wall clock too...and it's had a broken glass face for YEARS..it's not that it was expensive or that it's not easily replaceable.. It just came from my "first" grown up real job when we remodeled..

When I find one I like..I'll replace it.

yeah, a clock with a regular face... no digital. Love it. I have a mantel clock and a grand fathers clock as well. :)

I think I have at least one in every room. Only a couple are "special" like a french china one that I have had for 50 years and it was an antique when I bought it. One is out on the patio too. Nanny

This clock is so huge we can see it from the back of the house.

We have a clock in every room of the house....some digital, some not.

I have a big one in my family room, I really like it. Some people have commented that it is big (but not in a bad way). I have a bare wall in my hallway that I was tempted to fill with clocks of all shapes and sizes but I never did it.

I have two wall clocks, one in the kitchen, one in the livingroom, two antique mantel clocks a table top clock that i cross stitched for DFIL many years ago, plus tv clock, computer, phone, alarm......!

Clocks is one of the things DH and I both like. We have At least one in every room. Some of my favorites are the Mantel clock on the fireplace that chimes on the hour. Also in the livingroom is the Station clock which can be also seen from the entry. I love the "Who Cares!" Clock in the hall bathroom. The face has all the numbers in a pile at the bottom. I made wooden birdhouses into a frame around it. The one we USE the most is one of the four clocks in the kitchen. It is an Atomic clock and is controled by a clock in Denver, CO. That one also tells the day of the week (very important for retired folks!) along with the temp and moon phase. When I see one I really like, I bring it home.

Connie, I live that big clock and have wanted one for up in a peek in the Living Room. Only I don't like Roman Numerals, because they always GOOF them up. Notice that your 4 is incorrect and the bottom numbers are up side down. Sorry, but that would grind on me like a crooked picture!

I only have a couple of wall clocks now, but I have other clocks in every room of my house. It can be a pain when the electric goes off, and at time changes, to change them all, but I still want them everywhere. I wish I could find someone local to fix my two mantel chiming clocks that no longer work.

I've always been one to want to know the time. Even when I'm camping or something. Have had a clock in the bathroom (and a phone for that matter) since I moved in here. Bought some atomic clocks lately so I converting over so I don't have to sepend so much time changing clocks.

I have clocks every room too,I have one called old world.It chimes the face opens up in to 3 pieces there dancing figures and all dancing behind as the face opens up.When grandson was little everytime it chimed wed have to run him into see it.I fixed that I bought both daughternlaws one for Christmas.It plays neatest song Time Is Near,2 christmas carols.

Well, this makes me feel better. I was beginning to think I was a fossil. LOL I will have to take a pic of my Coca Cola clock and post it.

I love clocks, too, but I don't have that many hung right now. We're still in a remodeling/repairing mess.

I do have a wall hung analog clock on east wall in the kitchen and an atomic clock/weather station/calender on the west wall. (along with digital clocks on the oven, microwave, and coffee maker, UGH!)

I also haved a little West Bend digital clock and dual timer that sits either on the window sill or by the stove. I use the timer for everything. It can stand like a desk clock, or clip on a pocket, or "stick" to the fridge with a magnet.

I have a replica "old fashion" framed wall clock in the living room.

There's a "nightlight clock" in the bathroom. It's round, about 2 1/2-inches in diameter, and plugs into an outlet. The prongs are offset, it leaves plenty of room for another item to plug into the lower socket.

The clock has an indiglo face and comes on at dark. The actual clock runs from battery power and the light uses the socket power.

It's a great night light and keeps perfect time. I've had it for 15 years or more. I wish I had bought a few more; I've not seen anything similar in a while.

I have an old German "coo coo" clock with carved deer, rabbits, leaves, etc., but it needs to go to the clock doctor. It will hang in the living room for now and the four-seasons sunroom once it's finished.

I want to find a "pretty" wall clock for my sewing room and something whimsical for the laundry/mud room. I may put another atomic clock, with more features, in the living room too. I want it's weather sensor to be out in the open front yard.

I don't want a wall clock in the bedroom. We do have a clock/radio/alarm set but it's purely functional.

I love HUGE clocks, but I don't have a spot to keep one now. I would like one of the larger, two-sided station clocks to hang in the wide opening between the living room and kitchen, but since the rooms are so small that might be overkill.

We love clocks as well. Have one in almost every room. Just purchased from shopgoodwill.com auction a beautiful Seiko wall pendulum clock in the original box for less than we paid in shipping. The same one can be found new for over $250.00. Next clock will be one of the rythym in motion clocks, Seiko also has them but they can get pretty pricey. Was in Shipshewanna Indiana, Amish country this past weekend, they had some real beautiful ones as well and you can listen to all the songs they play and watch the different motions the clock makes, just didn't have it in the budget this time, had to get our winter meat instead. We'll be going back after the holidays to get the clock though.

I still like analog clocks also. I even have a Westclock sitting right alongside my monitor even though the time is right there on the 'puter.

I think wall clocks may be making a comeback. I see a lot more of them in stores these days. For a time you had to look for them. Now many places have them on display with a better selection.

You all can have mine! I don't even have a clock in my bedroom anymore.

I walked into the house of a clock collector. They collected antique wall and shelf clocks. They decorted their rooms with clocks. The living room had 25 clocks, all in running comdition and at noon -- all clocks struck setting up a din. It was not appreciated by the house cat.

Strangely, the owner could pick out a mis-stiking clock within this medley of noise.

In October, I was in a clock museum in upper NY and they had a unique French made clock. After it struck the hour, two minutes later, it struck again just in case you missed the first time!

The other whacky clock was more of a sun dial. It had a small brass cannon and a magnifying glass. The cannon was loaded and a small wick stuck out the fire hole. The entire appratus was positioned in sunlight such that at noon, the concentrated sun rays through the magnifying glass fell on the wick and ignited it. The cannon fired approximately at noon - giving a "noon report". How'd you like to be an unsuspecting guest in that house?
