A Simple, Helpful Guide to Overcome Consumerism

there is a link to the subject at the bottom.

Today, as I was reading the paper, I realized, there are more advertisements than actual paper to read. Of course, a lot of the ads were geared to gift giving, aka, Christmas.

I find this very sad.

From the article linked below, I find the following very important/the parts I gleaned the most from.

As we begin comparing our lives and possessions to those around us who have more, we lose joy, contentment, and happiness. And we begin trying hard to close the gap.

Or, in my case, I find I need to purge more, and live simpler still.

And we ought to dream bigger dreams for our money than the clearance rack at a department store.

:)

focusing more on your blessings than your troubles.

Really like the last line!
