My email Spam is getting more graphic.

Holy Crapola.

My email get just a little spam into the Spam folder.....1 or 2 every few days.

But today I had 5 when I first checked my email and they all had the F-bomb in it. Wow, I was shocked that the actual word would be there. And it's not like I troll sex sites etc that would attract that kind of spam.

Yeah, that word was in the subject line of a piece of junk today. And it didn't go into my spam folder, but it will next time.

That stinks. The ones I keep getting are to enlarge my penis, since I don't have one I send them on to my boss!

You obviously do not understand my question. I am using Outlook. Outlook informs you of the presence of a message by placing it in the In-box. In order to do anything with that message, including delete, you must 'click' on it. Once you click on it either left or right, you 'open' it and expose yourself to whatever risks are inherent therein. Maybe your system does not work that way, but mine does.

click some more rules, most likely its not comming from .info then. .. they are faking the header but the real is there too maybe if you look at source. They are tricky to read with all the gar bage there. I dont have OE to look at but quickly looked on the web... Where the From line contains people Where the Subject line contains specific words Where the To or CC line contains people Delete it from server

There are 3 management ills released by this change: 1. Apparently, a person unqualified for IT work made the decision to go with the lower cost application. That sounds very much like purchasing making a co-called cost reduction so they can put this on their list of accomplishments. A new, very important, untried application was not tried out before unleashing it system wide. A dummy account should have been created in the "sandbox" region of the server and the application tried there for a period of time. Many of the ills you mentioned should have shown up in the sandbox version and would have been contained. This would have given the system operators a chance either correct the software or reject it. Somehow, the system's virus checker was disabled or uninstalled. The SANDBOX: Many years ago, makers of large servers included a "sandbox" in their operating system. This is a feature that carves off a section of memory, and isolates it from the remainder of the computer. When accessed from outside the installation, it appears like a complete system. Its a place to experiment and give neophytes a place to roam. Any damage done is confined to the sandbox. Also, the system operators can use the sandbox to test to see if their corporate system is under attack by intruders, by lowering the protection on the sandbox and then watching for what comes in.

Gmail is also very good at identifying possible spam and sending it to the spam folder. I think my hotmail/outlook is too but I don't use it as much. I gotten the "I've hacked your computer and your webcam and will embarrass you if you don't pay" scams too. But I have no webcam, and haven't done anything too embarrassing in the last twenty years or so anyway... so.. have at it. Delete Forever... and forget. I usually don't get much spam, possibly less since the pandemic. Maybe more OS updates though. Folks maintaining my OS seem to have more free time to code. :-)

I opened a letter addressed to my husband today. Inside was a catalog of porn movies. I tossed it out. The poor man is 65, has multiple sclerosis and is basically bed-ridden. Believe me, he has no need to watch dirty movies.

For a while I was getting messages on the same day to enlarge my penis as well as my breasts! Guess they wanted to cover all possibilities.

Lately I've been getting ads for building materials. Recently got one for a discount on forklifts. I live in a third floor apartment! How did they ever get my name???

I don't open the junk. AOL puts it in a spam folder and I quoted from the titles. Never, never do I open this stuff.

Yahoo has a spam folder, too. I just went and checked mine and it's really weird. I have 3 or 4 e-mails about new roofs--and our HOA is replacing our roof, probably next week since they're right across the street today.

Now how the heck did they know that? As far as I remember, I haven't mentioned it anyplace lately.

That word is often in the subject line, you don't need to open the email to see it.
I got a the new roof one a few times too.
Just told DH the other day I am so disgusted, I am not only getting the enhancement emails for both men and women, NOW I am getting invites to meet "other senior singles"! LOL ;)

Might be a good idea to resist sending those enlargement messages to your boss, if you've ever heard anyone refer to him as the (more naughty) five-letter-word for penis (starts with "p", ends with "k") ...

... as it might put him on track to become an even bigger one!

Besides that I got a announcement from my bank stating that they had upgraded the privacy notice. I did not like something I saw, so called the bank. Yep, it was phis hing and he had me forward it to the bank and suggested I change my name and password. It was in my regular email, not spam. Something else came in, and I deleted that also. Just have to be careful

jasdip - i've never gotten any with the F bomb in the subject line but i do get all the other ones that everyone else is talking about.
