No.

Is it annoying when people say "like" too much in conversations?
If it is like, really a lot, then I get, like, aggravated.
But since I don't really know anyone who talks like that, I'd probably be more amused...as long as I didn't have to be around them very much.

Do you like to meet new people? Sometimes. If I have something in common with them. The general public....no. If you had $10,000 right now what would you do with it? Save it to work on my house. Have you ever accidently walked in on someone in the washroom or showering? Of course. Would you like to have a cute little monkey for a pet? If so what would you name your monkey? Absolutely not. Monkeys don't make cute little pets and like most wild animals, they shouldn't be pets. Have you ever had your name in the local newpaper? Probably not since the '70's when I did a program for children in Houston about farm animals. Who was your first love? My husband, Jody...met him when I was 12, but also a few years later, there was James...the first guy who really made my knees weak. I married Jody and he married someone else and a few years later, was killed in a car wreck. I always visit his grave when I go through my home town. Have you ever read any books that changed your life? Probably The Continnum Concept, which is about raising babies in arms. You never put them down...held constantly and always with you. That is how I raised my daughter, according to that book, and I think that is why we have a very close bond today...so in that way, it changed my life, and hers. What was the last thing that made you very mad or upset? I have a very, very old cast iron koi (carp)with an Oriental man sitting on his back. The man is holding a book, and he lifts off and the fish is hollow. I came home one day and it was gone, and I thought someone had stolen it. I found it a few weeks later...my husband had moved it somewhere else. What singer or band would you like to go see at a Concert? To tell you the truth...I wouldn't as much as walk across the street to see anyone. That's 'cause I am getting old and nothing like that interests me any more.

When was the last time you cleaned out your purse/wallet? It's been too long. I switched to a different purse and just took out the bare essentials from the other one. I REALLY need to clean it out. I have receipts I need to file. Are you an impulse buyer or research the item before buying? Little things I might impulse buy but big items I try to look around online to check reviews and prices. Have you ever been to an air show? Lots of times. We used to live in a town that has a training base. The air shows were amazing! Have you ever sold Avon, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, etc? Was it worth it? I currently sell Mary Kay and have for 6 years. I'm not high pressure or trying to recruit everyone. I LOVE the product and the customers I have, I've mostly gotten through word of mouth. My accountant said whatever I do, don't give up my Mary Kay. A legitimate home-based business is a great tax deduction. It's definitely worth it. How well do you know or get along with your neighbors? I know most of my neighbors and we all get along well. When our boys still lived at home, they were the neighborhood mowers. My neighbor right next to me LOVES to cook but hates leftovers. We LOVE her! The boys really miss living here sometimes. haha

Is there a smell you enjoy although others hate it? If so, what is it? --I don't think so. I'm the one with a touchy nose. Do you apologize for everything? --I apologize when I should. When I shouldn't, I make a point of finding other words. Has someone ever scammed you for money? --Yes. I was a 17 y/o cashier at a K-Mart and a guy pulled a fast one on me, intentionally trying to get me to give him way too much change. It wasn't just "you gave me the wrong change," it was a whole scam he was working out, fast hands and fast words. I started to get the sense he was up to something, and slammed my drawer shut and called a superviser. He just left. My drawer was counted, I was short just $10, he was really trying to get more from me. It wasn't even my own money, but I was very angry to have been cheated and treated like an idiot. It was a good lesson for a young girl, though! Sometimes do you wish you could just fly away? -- I never really though about flying, but sometimes I want to drive and drive until the road ends to get far away. I enjoy driving. If you could do anything without being judged, what would it be? -- Just be more honest/open with people. Sometimes it's about not being judged, sometimes it's about not wanting to come across as judging others.

What is the best bottled water you have ever tried? -It was home bottled, sort of. I was maybe 10, my great aunt Evelyn took us kids on a hike in the mountains around the Shannendoah Valley (where she lived) and showed us a natural spring. We filled dozens of glass bottles with that water. BEST bottled water ever! Never had water like it before or since. And so cold! Also a great childhood memory. ;o) I like bottled spring water, not "purified" water, and probably b/c of that day. When aunt E passed away, I wrote that memory in the card to my uncle. It was just so special to me. I felt like Laura Ingalls Wilder! Do you normally think about yourself before you do others? -Well, no, I am a mom! LOL. I do sometimes think about my family first, before other committments, when it's the right think to do. What is something you must do every single year? It can be anything at all. -Go somewhere by myself, just for the day, on a hike or a long drive. What is one of the worst movies or games you've ever watched or played? -Hm. I'm going with Candyland. I know the kids liked it, but geez I hated to play that game with them! Torturous!
