Good morning!

I have to work today. I'm going in early because I'm sure they've put me down for charge nurse. It's so cold out this morning. It's days like this I wish I didn't have a sunroom, at least I wouldn't have to walk through an ice cold "room" to let Luther out if it weren't there.

Having leftover turkey and dumplings for breakfast. Taking some for lunch too. I'm starting to get sick of turkey. lol.

Morning Kath and everyone!

Today is day two to wash the walls where I removed the wallpaper. So far, looks like dish soap cuts the clue better than vinegar.

Sure is a lot of scrubbing. I got the sponge mop out. ;)

Good morning. I've had my leftover turkey in the garage refrigerator. After not touching it since Thursday, I'm going to pour chicken broth over it, and freeze it. I'm not a turkey eater anyway. I wish they'd have taken more of it home with them.
I'm off to get ready for church. Then after the church service, we do the "Hanging of the Greens" (decorate the church for Christmas) I've got to go find my ornament that I'm putting on the tree.

Mike I love tall guys roflmao. I wonder what they see way up there?? Glad you are still bored. Well...wish you weren't but it is to our advantage :-) First year growing MG trees and I just love them! Funny thou on how different they also grow depending on where they are located at. In the ground or pots...all day sun or more shade. Lucy

Paint: I would wait on selecting a color until you have your furniture and accessories chosen. The present color (in picture anyway) feels washed out and a creamy white would be more modern and crisp. - Built in‘s/tv location: with the width on both sides of fireplace being different, you’ll have to configure bookcases accordingly, if going that route. Suggest holding off on making a mantle change until you figure out wall - try to envision whole wall in your decisions Really like look below - Seating layout: really like your inspiration picture and as per the layout, centre to fireplace. I'm tired of the turkey too, even though I didn't cook. I brought home very little from my DD's, but then my DS brings me a lot more. Today I'm going to put beans in the crockpot and later on will cook FISH.....either tilapia or salmon. Not much of anything else planned for the day. Just going to relax and gear up for a busy week.

Good morning everyone. Even though our Thanksgiving was in October, I have to say that I'm not a big fan of turkey either. I usually use the left overs in turkey tettrazini.

This morning I made meat balls for pasta tonight, and I made cinnamon rolls. I did a couple of loads of laundry, and washed my hair (which is a pita). This afternoon I'm going shopping to buy my mil a family ring for Christmas. My daughter is coming with me, so I had to abandon my plan to buy her earrings also, at least for now.

Tonight DD and mil are coming for supper. I like pasta night.

I was thinking "Gee, Kathy sure is up early", then remembered I was up at 5 myself. I made ham loaf out of most of the leftover ham. It made 3 loaves and we'll get two meals out of each. The rest is in the freezer for 7-bean soup later. Now I'm cooking the turkey carcass. It's making a really rich broth. We ususally just get a turkey breast, but DH bought home a whole one this year. I'd forgotten how much grease they have. I sent quite a bit home with DD but should have sent a lot more. I'm making turkey chowder tomorrow. Just had to get away from it for a while.

Been doing some shopping on-line, reading the papers and chillin' until time to start dinner. Maybe a nap!

Chili sounds really good--never had it with fritos but I'm sure gonna try it. I love fritos.

Good evening....LOL

Busy day for me.
We got home from a high school rodeo about midnight and crashed, hard.
I let the kids sleep in some but got up early to get started on the catch-up chores. I have one load of clothes left to wash and three to fold and put away.

For breakfast I had some leftover dressing and yams from the Senior Center. We had our Thanksgiving Dinner last Monday and it was mmmmm mmmmm good! The turkey is long long gone and we ate the last of the leftovers this morning.

Cold here too; about zero at 7am.
The wind blew most of the day but there was sunshine.
Digger and I raked the lawn and burned the leaves.
Stupid wind.
It blew pretty hard...until I threw a match on the leaf pile.
Then it stopped and smoked Digger and I very very well.
We both needed albuterol when we were done.
LOL

I fixed frozen pizza for supper after a nap on the couch.
Now I'm going to look at pictures from the weekend for an hour then settle in and watch Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters. Then it's a shower and off to bed!

Evening everyone! I have a headache and am dead tired. What a lousy day it was today at work. Everyone in a foul mood as soon as I got there. We didn't have a full house but sure felt like it. Lot of very sick people. Ate lunch at 2 pm, ate as fast as I could and got interupted by a phone call from a dr. I doubt I've ever gotten through lunch without someone calling me or coming in bugging me. arghhh!

I'm tired but have to wait for Lauren to come home from her dad's. Kids go back to school tomorrow.

Des Arc, that chili sound so good, especially with the fritoes and cheese.
