guitar hero sucks! LOL :P halo is a great choice though - I host 8-12 person halo 3 tournaments in my basement, LOL. unreal tournament 3 and street fighter 4 are fanTASTIC too. best multiplayer game by FAR is halo, though, we LOVE halo. you guys should play with me and my friends on live! consider yourselves challenged >:D you should also try elder scrolls 4: oblivion and the first fable game (we don't like to talk about the second one), too, for really gorgeous single player rpg/adventure type games. I've gotten completely immersed in these for MANY hours straight. video games were my first love, before plants; I don't play them as much as I used to but I'll never outgrow them! :P regarding that red ring - it happens to everyone, rigo. it's just known that if you buy a 360, at some point it's going to ring - it's happened to me and everyone I know at least once. it sucks, but microsoft has been really good about replacing them. I did actually fix my friend's out of warranty 360 using the penny trick - you have to open it up (requires tools and knowing exactly where the little latch type things are) and strip it all the way down, and take the board off the back plate. there are these little foam spacers that keep the board off the plate. you take two pennies and wrap them well in electrical tape, and replace each spacer with the little penny package. put it all back together again and turn it on and it usually works :) sometimes you have to do the towel trick to get it to realize it's been fixed - something about overheating it makes it reset so it doesn't think it's broken anymore. hope this helps! :P I'd fix it for you guys if I didn't live over two thousand miles away. My daughter,(40) just this week moved back in, she had left her husband and her teenage daughter over a year ago,which was a shock to everyone,she was having an affair with someone at work, and moved in with him. This of course caused a lot of problems, her daugher was devistated,her husband was a mess... I am close to both of them. It was many months before my daughter and I spoke..I finally told her I had to let go and fogive her, not for her, but for me.However our relationship was also strained. I told her I was concerned for her, as this man has a history of domestic abuse. She called me last week, she needed out of the relationship. is broke and now worried about her job, since he is her superviser. I told her, I had 3 rules...she had to be completly honest with me, NO drinking( this had been an issue with the boyfriend, she joined in) and she needed to seek conseling. So now she is living in our guest room.. But things are looking better, after talking to human resorces, her job is okay.. turns out this guy has a history of relationships with co-workers.She is looking into being switched to another department. And her daughter has been comunicating with her, very causiously, but a start.... So wish us all the best..

I have pills I take through out the day. I take about 4 when I get up. I have a small canvas zip up bag I keep in my bedside table drawer. I take those as I get out of bed. I have several I take with my lunch and another batch I take with my dinner. Those are in one of those daily marked pill cases with am and pm compartments. If I am eating out I leave the pill container in my chair so I see it and remember to take my pills. At bedtime I have a few more pills, they are in the same canvas zip bag in my bedside table. I also have to take a shot in my stomach every night so my kit is in my bedside table. Pretty much all the room in the drawer is dedicated to my medication. My Inhaler is in there as well and my needle collection container. Doing it that way I rarely forget to take my pills. The only time I sometimes get to them late are the times I eat out. I would include a little note in my lunch bag or container that I had to see when removing the food.

I saw that ruling and didn't think about the exodus. Ugh. I'm glad my son is fully vaccinated... so he can't get what they'll be carrying around. As to homeschooling, I only hope those who do, find ways to socialize the child(ren). A big part of school is the social aspect. My son comes in contact with all kinds of people he might not otherwise see. I think about kids who are even less well off and how much access might be blocked for them. Public school is a great equalizer. We're lucky that he attends one that is so well above in curriculum, I never thought about that which he was missing. His school has no football team, but the kids can play at other schools, or if you are in band, march at other schools. So my son marches where I attended-back before magnet schools. My son's current magent school is much more like my high school was. What is my school is like now? Oy. It's a much wilder ride, and I'm glad we are only there after hours and on weekends. A taste is enough. I'm glad he meets all walks of society there, but he'd never have seen what else there is if he hadn't stepped outside of his circle. Kids need to meet and know all kinds of people so they're well adjusted adults. If one homeschools to "protect" them from anything (which is what I hear!), what are they going to do when the child grows up and moves out on their own? I dread to think the possibilities.
