Moonie, I hope someone takes pic and videos I'm practicing my song now. Everyone at the party is a trained singer and some are professionals except me ( I'm always a clapper) but I can make em laugh.

My costume has white and yellow feathers all the way up my long neck and down to my enhanced butt., with little flapping feeting.

No, it's my day off, turning out all lights and enjoying a night alone. My husband has to work and is wearing Cardinals baseball gear and a hat with the "rally squirrel" on it!

DH and his band played last nite and the crowd dressed up. He said they all had a blast. The bar owner had door prizes, 50/50 draw etc.

He's out again tonite at a different bar and hopes the patrons dress up there too.

No dressing up here either. My BFF and his partner are coming for drinks and we will probably end up having a pizza. They are usually in Key West for Fantasy Fest but didn't go this year so we will spend it together.

Last night we had the "Fall Festival" for the kids at the preschool where I teach. I "dressed up" as a super hippie...the cape has a peace symbol on the back. The kids thought the nose glasses were soooo funny! "Ms. Jean! You're silly" was heard over and over. One little guy just about fell off his chair from laughing so hard. I helped with the cake walk and had sooo much fun dancing around with the kids between 2 and 10 years old.

I have dressed uyp twice already. This morning I wore a clown suit, greasepaint and a red hat.

I've been wearing horns several times a week when out and about. Halloween is my favorite time of the year.

I will probably dig out something to wear tonight so i can go people watch at a late night restaurant.

I like Halloween too. My place is full of lit houses and collected things. On my door is a scarecrow and a sign I made that says: Caution the Witch is in.

It is too late in life to try the saran wrap costume where you wrap yourself only in Saran Wrap and go as leftovers.

Ellie, that sounds like so much fun!! I hang out with a lot of singers and musicians, too. I never thought of adding costumes to the entertainment, but I'll keep that good thought. Don't forget to share a video with us!

I must admit, I'm a halloween bah humbug kind of person. I love to look at other people and their clever ideas for costumes but it's too much of an effort for me. Can't wait to see your pictures.

I DID IT!!!! My feathers were a little wet from the rain and snow but I did it and they were very quiet as I started my song (only the piano player knew what I was doing) then they broke out in laughter and I got my standing ovation.

Can't wait to see those pics. We have a Halloween Hoot day at golf (my least favorite day). When I told my friend who was the tournament director that I might not be able to come because I had to stay home and finish my book for book club, she had a fit. So I went. This year was the Monster Ball. You didn't really have to get dressed up, just wear black and as she put it, be a little creative with the black. I wore a long black skirt over my black golf skirt, fancy black socks, heels and a black shirt with a vampire on the front. Spider web earrings and a feathered mask to complete the outfit. She really didn't know who I was because I really don't dress up for halloween. She was shocked! I was stripping it off on the way to our Tee box.
