Glenda....Here she is

I think I've figured out how to post pictures. The first picture is of Georgy at puppy socialization graduation, the second one is of Georgy taking her teddy to bed at night, and the third picture was taken after we had five days of rain and she had a good time in the mud. I had to shampoo her five times before I got most of the mud out!

I love the graduation hat and you can tell by the smile that she's proud of herself.

Second one, I can see how beautiful and shiny her coat is. Cutie with her teddy :o)

Not happy looking on that third picture.

Haven't heard how Molly is doing. Her mommie has been cruising and is back at the beach cottage and hasn't come to B'ham.

Now you know how, keep on posting pics!

It's been many years - my "kids" are closer to 50 than 40. I remember my last snowball, though - last year when daughter flew me to AZ, there was no hint of snow in Phoenix, but there was prior to our arrival at Flagstaff en route to the Canyon ... so when we stopped at the motel in Flagstaff, I threw a snowball at her. I'm reading a 700 pp. book (with over 100 pp. of notes) now, called "The Snowball" ... the definitive story of the life of Warren Buffett, a few years ago the richest man in the U.S. (maybe the world). ole joyful ... not looking for more snow

Oh doggone it! Sorry you missed it. We, DH and I got home last week from our first cruise, 5 days on Carnival Inspiration. I must say, I did enjoy myself. BUT, my DH, who is NOT a people person, Just kept walking around saying to himself, me our friends, "Worst cruise ever!" He is such a party poop. I just went ahead and enjoyed myself, joined in a lot of activities, and really had a good time. It was on the 4th day that someone told him I was on stage and they were showing it on the tv. He finally caught it just before we debarked. On the cruise we did hear the sad stories of how air flights are cancelled and everyone said you must plan on flying the day before your cruise to make sure that doesn't happen. Better luck next time, Kathy G in MI

try going to the actual main page of the GW ivillage page and log out there then try logging in, I have had a problem at times logging in and I can always do it successfully if I go there and do the log in. Ok she did what I said but I gave several options which one did she do? did she get firefox too or did she just turn off the script? also GW has put up in red at the top of the page that they are working on some of these problems and ask to contact them if you have problems I would highly suggest doing that so they can try to determine what is happening. Here is a link that might be useful: Garden web main page log in

Good to 'hear' from you, Glenda! Being our age (I think I'm a couple of months ahead of you) isn't easy, I'm glad you are able to have some help/care. And I understand if you wish it weren't necessary. Hang in there, and know we care about you! Rusty

oh darn! I want one! In fact I'd love a golden retriever. No chance of it happening tho.

These two are some really sweet looking pups! Adorable.

Here's two pictures of Georgy the first time she had fun in the mud. I thought this was bad until we had the five days of rain episode. Note the mud all over the deck...it doesn't wash off. We just had the deck power washed and stained before her shenanigans. I guess we're going to have to have it redone. I keep telling DH (who isn't too happy about this) that there must have been something wrong with the product. The mud should wash away.

I think she looks like a lamb on the bottom one. I forgot to resize them. Sorry

In the last pictures you certainly can see the golden retriever in her. Yours is a standard, right?

Molly Beth is a mini and should top out at 35 lb.

Yes, Glenda. Georgy is a standard. She weighs 49 pounds and may get a pound or two bigger. Some standards can be 90 lbs. so I'm happy with her size. She does think she's a lap dog but fortunately, only puts the top part of her body on my lap. In the last picture of the first set, I can tell you she wasn't really unhappy but I think she realized that mommy was a bit unhappy. Molly is adorable. In the second picture, she looks like a stuffed animal. DH would have preferred a dog Molly's size. However, he likes to take hour long walks as do I and I'm not sure a small dog could keep up. I may just be rationalizing because I like big dogs. Georgy is a compromise and frankly I'm really okay with a medium dog,
