Just a quick hello

I have been missing all of my KT friends soooo much. You would not believe how often I think of ya'll.

Lydia, thanks for the pictures from Van Buren. We haven't been back since. I saw the letter I had started to write to you in my notebook today. LOL

I just came by the office to fax some things for a new medicine they want to try for Glen's liver cancer. The chemoembolizations he's had have kept it "stable". The new drug is called Nexavar and our part of the cost would be $1643.29 per month which of course we can't afford! It has been used on people with kidney cancer and just approved for use with liver. His brother, Larry, was even on it and it kept his from spreading.

Glen's home sick today. Yes, he's still trying to work even with his illness. (I don't like to use that awful C word). Both my parents are doing pretty good considering they are 80. I still have my back pain but that's just normal. All the critters are fine and even have a stray we took in Monday since it was getting below freezing. Hoping to find him a good home. He even has a collar on him. I put an ad in the paper-sure hope someone calls to claim him. Sissy and Bear are not happy puppies! lol

Just know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope to get back here soon. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, too.

Going down to the river. The Delta Queen is docked and will be leaving at 5pm. This may be her last voyage if they don't pass some kind of ruling due to her wooden hull, I think.

May you all be blessed!

Charlee
