christmas forever stamps!!!!!!!

I just came home from the post office. As they didn't have any Christmas stamps on their poster, I asked if they had any, or when they would be getting them. She said they had Christmas forever stamps, but not in religious. They are pretty pine boughs, some with pine cones, some with little blue berries on them. $8.80 for a book of 20.

For those of you in the Christmas card exchange, with in the USA, regular postage is 44 cents, post cards are 28 cents, to Canada is 75 cents, and to Europe/Austraila/New Zealand is 98 cents. I have no idea for the other way around.

Me too! I bought a book of postage stamps, and THREE books of the forever Christmas stamps!

had an amazing response over the weekend! I've put the request line on hold until the 3rd of june. by then I should have received all the envies from people who requested seeds. if anyone flakes on me, I'll put those seeds back up in a new list.

The "Forever" stamps are calculated for 1 oz. first class letter mailing. If I'm mailing a package or an oversized envelope, etc., requiring more than 44 cents, I just let the postal person use their postage meter labels. I've futzed around with 1 and 2 cent stamps to make up for postage increases long enough - these Forevers are brilliant as far as I'm concerned. I bought $100 worth when they were first introduced at 42 cents way back in April of 2007. Still using them with a handful of cards left to go. I'm glad there will be commemoratives though, the regular postal issues can be a bit bland.

I have been buying all of my stamps online now so much easier than driving somewhere and waiting in line and they arrive fast.
I love the forever stamps that is all I buy now, great idea for them to do them in Christmas.

tami: Thank you for the info. The pine cones work for me. At least they are pretty and somewhat realistic. A while back I bought some stamps and they were "impressionistic art" and they got sorta wild. l.marie

Oooo, another excuse to go to Costco! I didn't even know they had them. Are they the forever stamps? When I said I bought postage stamps in the original post, I meant that I bought POST CARD stamps!!!! I'll be getting more next week. With almost 40 in the exchange, plus the 60 or so that I send other wise, I need to get them early!
