What's for dinner 10/29?

Have to do this early since my sister will be here soon. She spends winters in Ft. Myers so this is a good stopping off point before driving the next 4-5 hours tomorrow. For dinner we will have corned beef, carrots, potatoes and onions. Also, hard rolls and for dessert a cannoli!

Gosh, I wish I knew. Working so much lately I hardly have time to think about dinner. Guess I better go a lookin' in the freezer, LOL. Love reading what you all are havin' though, gives me ideas.

Last night we had fish sandwich with hashbrowns. Just a quick thing, but good.

Invited out for dinner and for a night of either Scrabble or Cranium. Hubs and I adore Scrabble, but the male half of the couple we're going to isn't a good speller.
He excels at Cranium, which I think is a Trivial Pursuit kind of game. I suck at that, so I have my thoughts that that's the game we'll be playing. LOL

Hi Leslie~ hope your DS feels better real soon. My oldest DD has asthma too and it's not fun to deal with especially when they are sick on top of it. This week I am determined to get at least one thing finished! Every year we pick a family and do the 12 days of Christmas for them. (one gift each night up until Christmas Eve) So I got this wooden box from the TS that says "Will work for Milk and Cookies" and I'm painting a Santa on the other side of it. Will fill it with milk and cookie fixins for the gift. I know it's not time to be thinking of Christmas quite yet, but if I don't get some of these projects started I'll be frantic by then. I also have a few Thanksgiving projects I need to get painted up. Will post pics when I'm done. :) ~Anj

Kathleen, I've been wondering how you've been doing, both with your surgery and the exchange students. Sure would like to hear all the news about both! I love salmon patties and also any kind of salmon served with peas. That sounds so good, schoolhouse. Nita, I bet you're over the moon having your son home. Sashimi on rice, rice isn't part of my diet, but there really wasn't anything to get other than fried crap and pizza. They recently started selling it and sushi at the cafeteria in the ajoining hospital. Had attempted to make chicken breasts with tomatoes and parmesan cheese last night to take with me to work today, but when I put the cheese overtop of it at the end, it was moldy. I had to throw out the whole thing.

Ate light at Jason's Deli. Scoop of tuna salad and crackers.

Got two weekend dinners that will be sorta heavy.

had to run an errand at 5, the store is in the same shopping center as a grocery store so I grabbed a steak (hubby is hunting). Thought it would take just a few minutes....WRONG....2 registers were open and they were packed. But the steak was GREAT!

My sister and brother-in-law leave for Florida on Sunday, so they treated me out for dinner at Longhorn's Steakhouse. Yaahoo!! It was delicious! One of my favorite places to eat.
