You're given a thousand dollars and can only spend it on ONE thing. What would you spend it on? I would donate it to the Humane Society.

What do you prefer to drink in the morning?
~ One cup of tea with a small amount of caffeine, then herb tea.

How many pillows do you sleep with?
~ One (down).

What color is your bathroom?
~ I forget the name of the paint color, but in any case it didn't describe it very well. I'd say a toned-down, subtle Creamsicle.

You're given a thousand dollars and can only spend it on ONE thing. What would you spend it on?
~ Do I have to spend it? If I have to spend it, I guess I'd get myself a Nikon D80.

Is your hair wavy, curly, frizzy, or straight?
~ The blondest parts (on top) are straight, but the hair underneath is wavy. A hair stylist's challenge.

When is the last time you had your hair cut dramatically? -- I had about 3 inches cut off last week, but it wasn't dramatic enough for people to say anything. So I think the only dramatic cut I've ever had was when I was 19 and had very long hair cut off (think Jamie Lee Curtis short). It was probably 20 inches of hair. Unfortunately, if Locks of Love was around at that time, I hadn't heard of them. I wish I had before/after pictures of my DS#1 who got his cut last week. He's 15 and has soft, silky blonde hair that women would pay money to have on their heads. He wore it longish, shaggy, it touched his shoulders and he was protective of it. We could make him cry threatening to cut it off. Last week, he announced he just wanted it cut. Now it's short, what you would call a "clean cut" young man. That was drama! Everyone who knows him was shocked! People were standing around watching at the hair cutters watching this teen boy make such a change, and all that fine blonde hair drop to the floor. I really regret not taking pictures. When is the last time you wore a hood on your head? --Maybe last week, when it was raining, I pulled up the hood of my sweatshirt. Do you like Dr. Suess? -- Yes. I like the longer books better than the beginning reader stuff. When is the last time you saw someone pulled over by the police? -- There is a lot of traffic around here, so the only day I don't see it is a day I don't drive anywhere. Have you ever been in a haunted house that was actually scary? -- If you do mean the commercial ones, I do not like them and haven't been in one since I was a child of about 10. I was scared then, and I knew the people dressed up inside. If you mean the presence of the supernatural, my mom and I are convinced there was "something" in the old farmhouse we lived in when I was a teen, we both had too many strange experiences to ignore it. But we didn't find it scary, oddly enough. Do you like to wear hats & scarves? -- Not really. I'd prefer not to be cold enough to need them. Do you have any bumper stickers on your car? -- No. My kids think it means I'm not proud of them. (Ya know the minivans where you can tell what school and sport every child in the family attends..) But if I started that, it would never end, I'd have 12 bumper stickers on my van and growing. So I just don't even start. I don't like that kind of sticker. I do like the ones that are funny, though, and enjoy reading other people's! I'm not bold enough to get ones that say what I really think.

1. Who is your favorite actress? -- Jodi Foster, I guess. But there are probably others I like as well. 2. Who is your favorite actor? -- Definitely Will Smith. I like every type of movie he does. I will go out of my way to see an interview when he is on a program. I even watch old Fresh Prince episodes on Nick At Night! I just like the guy, and his family. The one celeb I really do care about. He just seems like an all around good guy. 3. How many pillows do you sleep with in bed? -- 2 4. How do you like your eggs? Scrambled, overy easy, hard etc? -- I'm either in the mood for scrambled or in the mood for over easy. 5. Do you like bagels? If so, what do you put on them? (cream cheese, butter) -- I like them toasted with cream cheese and a little jelly. 6. Do you always have gas in your car? -- Techinically, yes. Let's just leave it at that. ;o) 7. Do you stock up on toilet paper? -- I buy enough to last 2-3 weeks at a time. Which might look like stocking up to a smaller household. I also use the big rolls, or I'd change the roll a couple times a day! 8. What do you wear to bed to sleep in? (P.J.'s, sweats etc) -- Depends on the weather, from flannel PJs to a big, old shirt. 9. Do you dream a lot? -- Oh YES! I have vivid dreams, more than one per night, and I might remember them for a couple hours or I might never forget some of them. I wake up from them disoriented and more tired than before I slept. I have to get up and check on the kids, house, car, etc. before I can sleep again. They aren't scary, just disorienting. Close enough to reality, but like an alternate reality. I used the enjoy my dreams, but lately they keep me from going back to sleep and I wish I could just have one night of dreamless sleep! Are you looking forward to Valentine's Day this year? -- I'm indifferent. Our schools get a winter break in February, and I think it falls the week of V-Day this year. I'm looking forward to that (at least when the alarm goes off every morning). Does that count?

Sometimes, if they cut right in front of me. What is the one thing that you can't resist? My DH. If you could command the weather, what would todays weather be? Hardest person to buy for? --DH's father. But we gave up. He really does not want anything from anyone. If he wants something, he studies and reviews and gets exactly what he wants. If he doesn't have it, it's b/c he does not want it. Easiest person to buy for? --DD. I could spent thousands on her if I had it. She enjoys anything she is given. So when shopping, it's easy to imagine her excited reaction to so many thing. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? -- Oh, wow. I really don't know. I will never forget this green dress my aunt knitted for me when I was about 10. It was straight and stretchy with a huge cowl neckline, and the color of celery. It had to have taken her a long time, and I'm sure she put thought into picking a style and color she thought I'd like. But other than the love that went into it ;o) I did not like anything about it. It was even very itchy. I never wore it, not once. Eventually I admitted to my aunt that I just really didn't like it, and let her give it to someone else who did like. I felt terrible about that. Favorite Christmas movie? --This might not actually count as a movie, but I love the Peanut's Christmas special. A classic! When do you start shopping for Christmas? --Always later than I say I will. Right now, I just have ideas, but haven't actually purchased anything.

What do you prefer to drink in the morning? Coffee with 1/2 tsp sugar & a bit of cream

How many pillows do you sleep with? Two on my side of the bed, two on his side.

What color is your bathroom? Right now it is blue with a glaze over it. I have a bucket of "Dusty Road" to put on it soon.

You're given a thousand dollars and can only spend it on ONE thing. What would you spend it on? The whole $1,000 would go on groceries to restock my shelves in the basement and to fill a freezer. I would have to spend a bit of my own money to buy a larger freezer though.

Is your hair wavy, curly, frizzy, or straight? When my hair is short, it's straight. When it gets a bit longer, the waves start showing up. It's not a bad thing ... that's when I know it's time to get it cut.
