Leftovers here.

We had burgers, potato salad, fresh peppers from the garden and butter tarts.

I tossed a couple of strip steaks on the grill and am making a salad.

I hate to admit it, but all I had awhile ago was a bacon and egg sandwich. The bacon needed to be used up as I thought maybe it was going bad already. I cooked it all, can you freeze bacon?

I had meatloaf, baked potato, and peas/carrots.

Schoolhouse: I have frozen raw bacon before with no problems. Never had any leftover to freeze after it was cooked. A bacon and egg sandwich sounds great.

Grilling a porterhouse for my husband and baked potatoes for both of us. The potato will be plenty for me might have a nectarine for dessert.

New friend and I went to Klingers for brunch after church.

I had Hilda's quiche and sausage soup.

Friend had walnut and mushroom strudel and german potatoes.

Glad we got there early. People were standing waiting for seats when we left.

Schoolhouse....absolutely you can freeze bacon. I'll buy 4 or 5 or 6 lbs. when it's on sale. I put two strips together and freeze on a cookie sheet and then put in a zip lock bag. That way I can take out a serving portion at a time.

I went to wine and cheese tonight 5:00 - 7:00. My dinner was hors d' oeurvres.

Creole shrimp rice and a bowl of crushed pineapple.

I made DH duck fried rice - there was some left over roast duckling, and some leftover brown rice. Lots of veggies in there including asparagus. He declared it delicious, LOL.

Personally, I never eat duck. I've tried to like it for years, but NO, LOL, it still tastes like duck. I had some soup, and was perfectly happy with it.

Beer Butt Chicken here tonight. Roast potatoes and broccoli.

We had scalloped potatoes, sauteed cabbage and onions then apple juice to deglaze the pan.
I like making stuffed pork chops, but they aren't stuffed.
I make stuffing, and tie two boneless pork chops with the stuffing between them.

I bought a package of 10 apple juice tetra-paks for $1.50 and wanted to use up some apple juice, so I put some in the cabbage.
Dinner was good!

Beef Kabobs with green peppers, red onion, and pineapple.
I also fixed zuchinni, yellow squash, and cherry tomatoes on skewers with the meat on the grill. Fixed baked potatoes in the microwave and had watermelon for dessert.

top sirloin, mashed, and green salad..dh made rootbeer floats for dessert!

I cooked ribs and served it with steamed rice and green beans.

Green beans cooked with potatoes and ham. One of my very favorite meals since childhood. Added to that a variety of small tomatoes, halved, with feta and balsamic vinegar. And home made zucchini/herb bread (fresh from daughters bread machine) to sop up the juices from the beans and the tomatoes. Pumpkin roll later for dessert.

I'm grazing because of being on Prednisone. I ate a half meatball sandwich with a side of of Asian chicken salad.

So far the grazing is working. No weight gain.
