Had the same thing I had there last week.

Awesome tomato pie, freshest tossed salad.

Friend had their raspberry tea, and I had my usual water.

Skipped dessert: one that was calling my name was peanut butter fudge cake.

Quick and easy..BLT's. Husband bought too much bacon,
had vine ripened tomatoes, lettuce, mayo on leftover
toasted Italian bread. It's just me, DH and the peke.
I have to be in the mood for it, and I was. DH and the
peke love everything so no problem there.
For later I've got some great ice cream, Hagen Daz Creme
Brulee for me, Blue Bell Pralines and Cream for DH, I'm
sure the peke will get some of both...

Oh, Glenda, What will power! Peanut butter no less. We went to Costco today so I grabbed an oven roaster while I was there. I'm just having chicken and a salad. Tomorrow we will probably have chicken salad from it.

Turkey salisbury steak, potato, and corn.

Meatloaf and noodles

I made the big pan of stuffed meatballs in gravy, yesterday, along with mashed potatoes. We had some of that tonight and.....will have the rest tomorrow night. They are putsy to make so when I do make them, we eat them for a while. Luckily Hubs & I really like them. PS, the meatballs are stuffed with....stuffing. Sometimes I make my own, this time I used Stove Top stuffing.

I had to report for jury duty selection today so I put a crockpot of stuffed peppers on before I left. They sure did smell good when I came home! And they tasted even better!

We were in Tucson today so we got subs that were excellent. Foot long roast beef sub for $5 can't beat that. If we get hungry later we will have Marie Callendar chicken pot pies.

Nothing special here tonight,,,just grilled pork chops, spanish rice & mexicali corn, a side salad and peach cobbler for desert, with plenty of coffee too.

Easy here...cut up some Italian Sausages and put them in a crockpot with sliced peppers and onions and poured a can of TJ's Marinara sauce over it all. Also added a bit of red wine. Let them cook all day and served them over pasta. The sausages were very, very good!

Eileen, I always take the casing off my sausage. Is it necessary? Your dinner sounds good.

Lazypup, you call that "nothing special"? Sound really special to me!

Thanks, Tami. I have meatloaf in the freezer and was wondering what was for dinner tonight. Now I know! I made it with ground turkey, though and it wasn't that great. Pekemom's BLT's sure sound good, too. So does Monarae's burgers. I'm trying to keep our red meat intake down, but it's hard. We both like it so much.

Dotmom, I wondered what you stuffed in your meatballs. I was thinking maybe spinach or cheese.

Lynn, jury duty isn't my favorite activity. But you had a nice dinner when you got home anyway.

I haven't had Salisbury steak for ages. Do you make a gravy with yours, Gadgets?

Gee, Nita, a foot-long sub for $5? Such a deal!

patti43: I brown the 'steaks' in a skillet, take them out, make gravy using pint of chicken broth, seasonings, flour. Then add the steaks back in, let simmer/cook in the gravy.

Nita: I used to love it when there'd be a $5 special on the roast beef subs when I worked. I'd eat half for lunch and take the other half home for supper that night.
