Wow we went over 100! and it looks like it won't be long before we at 100 again soon! :) LOL Grovespirit: I hope you get well real soon and playing in the dirt soon, I will keep you in my prayers :) UPTREASA: Wow! that's a lot of cheese! and I loooove cheeeeese!, and your farm sounds so awesome, I hope you get a lot of visitors. :) I hope everyone else is well and if your not or are feeling a little blue than I hope you feel better real soon and can play in the Gardens too! My Husband is doing better, he had to have surgery on a bunch of old fractures that wouldn't heal on his femur bone and some other bone repair, his surgery was really long this time (7th surgery in 4 years) we were expecting everything to be routine as usual, but he had some complications and needed a transfusion and than had a fever that wouldn't go away, and low blood pressure and really high blood sugar. Got a bit scary there. But he is much better now and came home this week and is recovering in a hospital bed that the kids set up in the middle of the living room so he could still be apart of the daily chaos and also retain his rights as king of the remote! :) My poor garden suffered a bit, but nothing some water, a few seeds and a little weed pulling wouldn't cure :) Okay secret pal look out for June, I found a cute garden idea While staying at the hospital's family care. I will say no more! oh.....but it is such a neat idea!....nope, zipping it and throwing away the key...not saying more....:) oooh I can't wait til June! Have a Great Memorial Day Everyone!

I'm glad all of you enjoyed the pictures and felt like you sort of got to come along with us. Trust me, you are always along on any shopping excursions--find myself constantly saying "Oh,so and so would really like this" or "Isn't this like what so and so collects?", etc. I do have to exercise restraint when I go on these shopping excursions. I see so darn many things that I like, but my little house is nearly bursting at the seams already and no matter how cute, I just really don't need much more! Also, my neighbor/friend and I had hit her favorite TS in a nearby town this week too. Here's pics of my finds that day, along with the little Campbell's soup mugs I got while with OA yesterday. My newest neighbor/friend has MS and just recently had to get leg braces. She is redoing her kitchen and has been looking for Campbell's soup kids items, so I was excited to find these things to gift to her and hopefully brighten her day. ;o) Punk, my gift from OA is wonderful--it is used in the top of a candle to cut out the hole so you can sit a votive inside. Can't wait to use it on my Fall and Christmas candles this year. Magpie, Upland used to be a fantastic place to find unique stores and antique/collectibles shops. Unfortunately, the economy hasn't been too good to those types of stores and many have gone out--only five or six left there now. Janet, I've visited the mountains of N.C., and loved it there as well as the outer banks too. We have family in the Raleigh area so will most likely head the motor home that way again one of these years. Both OA and I said we hate having our pictures taken, but we agreed to do it in spite of knowing we looked hot and wind blown, just for all you gals here. Jeanne, you're a sweetie, but trust me, we're NOT too young to be retired! LOL Here's my "treasures" for this week: These are for my neighbor/friend. There are two of the mugs. This little wooden bread box will get a coat of white paint and be used on my kitchen counter to hide some of the vitamins and medicine bottles. I hate having them in site. The spice bottles revolve and will be great for glitters, buttons, or whatever in my craft room. This little snowman plate was just too cute to leave on the shelf. I love snowmen, but I actually thought of Miss Karen when I saw this because of the cardinals.

Crazy, busy weekend here again due to many things. Thanks for all the cool and supportive responses. All of the troops need those no matter the country. Justin knows about all y'all and as always asked what's up with your foodie/cooking friends....way before his military thing. We were talking today at the lake and he thinks he was...yikes.. 13 or 14 when he first tried Sharon's pickles from a swap years ago. Man time flies! Thanks again everyone but this guy has to get to hit the hay so to speak. Justin and his group got the best of me at the lake today. OY! I'm starting to feel my age.....LOL! David

i had a fried bologna sandwich w/ white bread. an all around splurge for me lol i don't eat lunchmeat much, don't fry things infact i blot my fried low fat beef bologna LOL and don't eat white bread ever. it's a comfort food to me, it's from my childhood and today was cool and cloudy at 73 in orlando, a gloomy day needing comfort food :-) i made paella valencia for dinner, a cookinglight recipe. i'll deal w/ boning out yesterday's turkey tomorrow a.m. ~ liz
