Many things.

Being able to sleep at night with no air conditioning and the windows wide open.

The crispness in the morning air...to me, Fall is like waking up after a long sleep, rested and full of energy.

Snow on the way!! Taking orders now!!
But seriously, it is the color of the leaves, the fall plants and their beautiful flowers, the craft fairs, kids back in school, and cooler weather.

I can stop mowing the lawn & watering the deck flower pots. No mosquitos. Great sleeping weather. New TV shows I like. Great fall colors.

But really.......I L O V E summer!!!!! :0)

First thing will be turning off all the swamp coolers and not having to hear them humming 24/7. The flies go away.
An over sized sweatshirt, I am tired of wearing tank tops. The crisp, cool air will be something to look forward to. So many things, it will be nice I know that !

All of the above PLUS riding my horse on the crunchy leaves and smelling the great smells of the woods in fall. My favorite time of year!!!

I like making outdoor fall arrangements both for Halloween and Thanksgiving. My DGD always asked me when we were going to do the rangements.
She finally learned there was an a on it.

I also like the smell of burning leaves and pine straw.

And football games.

The 80 degree days! Too bad they are so very rare in ND. **sigh**

I love all those things. I miss the smell of burning leaves and piling all the leaves up for kids to play in. But I really look forward to fresh apple cider. Yum!

Sweaters, baking, and making stews. I love when it gets dark early and having a fire going when the kids come home on rainy afternoons. I miss burning leaves too.

all of it! colors omg they are gorgeous...the thing i hate is its a preclude to winter...i love the snow i just cant deal with the cold anymore. already have my pumpkins lining the walkway and various other things to co incide (?) with fall.

Everything! Love the cooler weather, snuggling with a blanket on the couch, baking and cooking comfort foods (who wants hot soups in the summer??), the smell of apple cider and cinnamon spice, the color of the leaves, spending the days outside at fall festivals, pumpkin patches, Halloween, my DD's birthday, College Football (Go VA TECH!!!)

The crisp cool air, the colorful leaves (although they never last long)... fall is my favorite time of year.

My favorite thing is that it's not summer. I absolutely HATE summers any more. This is the second day of fall and it was 94 today and the same tomorrow and no real rain since July. I cannot wait till it's cold.

I love everything about fall!! My favorite season. Love seeing the leaves floating down onto our driveway. The crisp mornings when the air feels so fresh. Those blue skies like no other time of the year. Pumpkin cheesecake, apple butter, pumpkin butter, cider, stews, vegetable soup and so much more. Then Halloween, seeing the delight in the childrens faces.

Watching all the critters frolic while I sit around the fire pit with a cup of coffee or coco.

The fall colors and fall decorations, but I really prefer spring and summer. I dread that my little hummingbirds will be leaving, other birds won't be nesting, and I will have to be all bundled up freezing again. Give me the heat any day.

Cool crisp mornings and the beautiful foliage. Being in the Northeast, it is starting already. Clear cool days! I love this time of the year!

Flea markets!

Like Murraysmom, I love to ride my horses along country trails and just take in the scenery and scent of fall. Early morning frost and seeing your breath as it freezes, and the horses always feel so much more energized. Fall festivals, parties, sitting next to my chiminea and sipping hot spiced cider with my friends.

I like just about everything about Fall except that I know cold weather will be coming soon and I don't like the cold. I am glad we have seasons. Love the changes.

I love eveything you love, makes me wish I had a horse or that I could even ride one again! Our state fair is going on right now and the tempts are perfect High 70's to low 80's. I'm looking forward to sweat suits, etc. and NO bra! What I don't like about it is having to put shoes on! We went to the casino last night and I gave in and put them on. sigh We live in the dessert so it's hot, hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. My one regret is never learning how to ski. Now ask me how I feel about Spring? I think getting my shoes off again says it all!

One of my favorite things is that Amber's birthday is the end of October. I also like all the apples that are available and looking for black walnuts. I seem to bake more pumpkin pies too. I also like that summer is over and winter will soon be here. I love snow!

I love walking these country roads when the air has a touch of frost and the sky is clear blue. The air smells so clean and fresh and is just a pure delight. Sometimes you get a little wiff of woodsmoke coming from someones wood stove or fire place.

Marilyn Sue, I don't know where you live, but you are welcome to come to our place. We have tons of Black Walnuts .. You got to stand back when we run the mower over them, as they become like rocket propelled if a blades catches one.

I love the fresh apples and putting up apple pie filling and apple butter, and apple sauce, and the list goes on.

Just a wonderful time of the year...

Fall colors - when the leaves change, it is so amazingly beautiful! Also like the cooler air. Nothing like a sunny fall day!

Crisp apples for eating, great sleeping weather, college football on TV. The thing I don't like is knowing winter is not far off. I don't like snow or ice.

We deal with hot hot hot ...did I say hot weather for two or three month a year and then comes the rest of the year and no one could ask for better weather than we have in the Texas Hill Country .
