I recorded, then stayed up late watching both shows last night. I was glad at the outcome, but I would have been glad with any of them winning. I had never heard of Hubert before this show, but have always liked both Chiarello and Bayless. I was a bit disappointed at Chiarello in the episode where the previous contestants from Top Chef came back to be sous chefs. But I wonder how much of the arrogance they showed him having was the editing. As for the finale, I loved the challenge they had to do. What a brilliant idea. I bet it was fun for the chefs to do, too. It's too early to tell about the new Top Chefs. I just hope they keep the bickering to a minimum. One of the things I loved about Top Chef Masters was there was little to no bickering, and everyone enjoyed each other's company. Sally

Oh, we're so hooked on this show!!! We're still catching up online. We like to savour it, and not rush through the seasons! LOL

Pete is no longer on the show he is not returning and this is the last season and is to be a short one, Addison will return for some of these. The show had changed so much I no longer enjoy it, in fact last night I deleted all the past episodes I had not yet viewed and removed it from my dvr list. It was one I really enjoyed when it first started. I hate when they decided to make such major changes when they had a good thing going.

I agree that the CGI in Hawaii Five-O was a bit over the top and didn't add that much to the production quality. If you are going to use CGI, use it well or save your money. I wasn't crazy about all of the story lines that were introduced in the final segment. I don't mind watching a few shows with season-long story lines, but I prefer an action show like Hawaii Five-O to be written in a crime-of-the-week format. Blue Bloods is one of my favorite series right now. I think it has a nice balance between action and character-driven moments in each episode.
