Makayla's Birthday is today!

15 years ago

She is five now! Oh My, where did the time go? I can remember her being born,

I was in the operating room with my daughter when they did her c-section.

I can still Makayla's little face with a small amount of blood her the right side

of her face and her little tongue hanging out of her mouth!

NOW, look at her: A beautiful little girl. If I must say so!

At the investment group last night, said that I had onl.y 4 hours left to enjoy being 84 ... ... and, they didn't even sing "Happy birthday ... " to me ... ... plus, at the after-meeting for a few to continue the discussion at the arches fast food place, after ... I had to buy my own coffee! As for that candle on the cupcake at the ROMEOs last week, that I held at arm's length ... I did get it blown out! To some merriment ... who thought that there was a blow-hard ... in this august group! 'Twould be quite a job - to get 85 candles on a cupcake: wall-to-wall fire, right! The temp. around here is warmer today - about 20 F. I goofed, earlier - drove right by the licence renewal place and forgot the need to go in. Looking for another place in the city at present. Thank you all for all the warm wishes and the Happy Birthdays. I am having a wonderful day so far. I mailed out Christmas cards to everyone on the list. Just wish that more would have signed up. Molly took her dad & me out to lunch yesterday and today she gave me Justin Timberlake's newest CD because I said I liked it a few months ago... Prince Charming will take me out to dinner at our favorite place, Rock n Roll Sushi. He might even take me into the Auburn/Alabama store and buy me a t shirt that says "Hey Nick got a second" Nick Saban is the head coach for Alabama, and it was him that pitched a hissy fit for that second to be put back on the clock so his kicker Cade Foster could try a field goal, He missed and we (Chris Davis) caught the ball and ran it 109 yards for the Auburn win!!! So that was an early birthday present...just hope they give me a late one too. When they play Mizzou Saturday!!! WAR EAGLE

I also received the coloring books and had already ordered the gel pens from Amazon as a birthday gift to myself... I gave every woman I know this gift and the best answer came from my step daughter as she is a teacher and extra time is almost non - existent - she told me she thought I was crazy for giving her them, but one day while on the phone to she picked a pen and started and now she uses it to relax before she goes to bed - she loves it! I have my 9 year old autistic do his homework and I have to sit right next top him so he doesn't get distracted and that's my time to play - I love it! ...and this boy who HATES art is starting to get interested in it too... He spends most of his time at his moms playing video games - I'm trying to find things that will be of interest to him that doesn't involve electronics...

She just gets prettier each day.....what a beautiful child.
I remember how sick she was when she was not very old. She looks very healthy and very happy now!

Mscippy- that is odd that you called Kaden a little dude, that is the nickname that my DH calls him!
Patti43- the pic is kinda of on angle but she is tall for her age.
