Yes I love it. I recently bought Pralinutta which is Chocolate Hazelnut. I put it on Petite Palmiers by Sugar Bowl Bakery.

We love nutella here and I actually use it as a filling for cakes sometimes.

No, I am not a fan of Nutella either. I don't like chocolate spread on toast or breads.

A gal at our table on the last cruise insisted that the head chef make Nutella ice cream for her every night. Seriously! They didn't have any Nutella on board when we left Los Angeles so when we docked for a few hours in Seattle, a crew member ran out and bought some. One day at lunch this gal saw someone being offered Nutella ice cream and she became rather indignant that others were eating her private stash. Of course all of us at the table were allowed to enjoy the fruits of the poor head chef's labors without retribution from her. She was an interesting table guest to say the least.

Never tried it. Doesn't sound appealing to me. There's not a lot of overly-sugary, super-sweet things I like and I'm not a big fan of chocolate anyway.

I see it advertised all over the place - I don't like hazelnut, and especially do not like it mixed with chocolate - we have not tried it.

I love it and I'm not a big hazelnut fan. I think Nutella is delish!

I love the stuff. I love Nutella like Glenda loves her peanut butter. LOL If you like those gold wrapped Ferraro Rocher candies you will like Nutella because it is made by the same company and Nutella tastes just like the stuff inside the candy.

I can't eat peanut butter so this is my substitute. Nutella on a banana sandwich is really good. Nutella on toast, Nutella right out of the jar and Nutella on one of those warm apple cinnamon breakfast pitas is like a decadent dessert. I love the stuff so much that when the jar is empty I get out a spoon and scrape every last bit out of the jar. LOL

My sister swore to me up and down she didn't like Nutella. I asked her if she ever tasted it and she wouldn't answer me except to say she didn't like it. I asked her if she liked those Rocher candies and I know she does so I told her she would like Nutella. No way would she try it. So one day when she was here I put one of those breakfast pitas in the toaster, smeared the Nutella on it until it was warm and gooey and proceeded to eat it in front of her. Well didn't she get up and go into the kitchen and make one for herself. Now I have to hide the jar when she comes over because she likes it.

More expensive than peanut butter though so I buy it only when it is on sale for around $4.89 for the large jar.

Very dangerous stuff to have around my house. LOL

Jasdip, if you like hazelnuts, I think you would like Nutella -- I don't taste the cocoa as much as the nuts. It's worth a try, but be warned that it can be addictive.

We love it here and our GD's love it on pancakes whenever they have sleepovers with us :)

Jodi--I bet mealtime was really a trip at your table :-) I haven't made the nutella mousse yet, but I love it spread between two almond flavored cookies I get a Wal-Mart. They're the Great Value brand.

You don't know the half of it Patti! Very entertaining gal/couple to have at the dinner table. We all felt like we needed to tip the staff extra at the end of the cruise because of her. :-)

I've tasted it. See...........I went diving with this girl that had just dropped about 20lbs. I asked her what she ate that made her sooooooooo FAT....she said....drum roll..........Nutella! :0) That was it for me....no more Nutella! :0)

just bought my first jar Monday. I love it but I dont like peanut butter. Like someone said more expensive then PB but I really like it. Probably not a good idea to keep it around the house either. I put it in the fridge and then I read your not supposed to do that boy did it get too hard but was okay when I let it get to room temp.

Never tried it...doesn't look like something I'd like, but my best friend, Nara, loves it...eats it all the time straight from the jar with a spoon.

It's too expensive for me to think of using it as a PB-substitute sandwich spread.

But I love to dip pretzels in it--it's the salty/sweet combo--yum! Just a few of those and then the jar goes back on the shelf!

No. I used to like a hazelnut spread as a child but Nutella doesn't taste the same as the original at all. I think it used to be called Supercrema.

With half the calories coming from fat and almost all of the other half from sugar I don't see how they get away with calling it a food.

Nutella has 7 times the sugar of peanut butter and less than half the protein of PB. To me that's candy in a jar.

Pammyfay, I've been on a few cruises and didn't know you could request special orders, unless of course it was for health reasons. This gal does it on every cruise she said. She asked for special meatballs several nights in a row (can't remember what they were called) but they never materialized. She was not happy.

She was an interesting one. At midnight one night, she came to our suite with a breakfast menu with two of everything checked off. Imagine our surprise (and horror) when the butler arrived with an entire cart filled with food and six different things to drink ... everything but coffee. Sheesh. Yeah, she was an interesting one.

Yes, Marilyn she was definitely a "princess". In fact one of the entertainers on board chose three people in the audience to make up songs about. She was one of them. When asked what she did for a living, she told him "Domestic Goddess". :-)

I think it's delicious but I never buy it because I don't think it's very healthy. I know it would be okay to eat occasionally but I would find it hard to resist!

I've heard it's very popular in Europe, much more then peanut butter.

The combination of hazelnut and chocolate is far more popular in Europe than here. I love the Nutella gelato in Italy--it is everywhere! And I grew up eating Mozart balls from Austria (sounds kinda lewd but that's the English translation). YUM! I could go for some now!

I think of Nutella as like a melted candy bar. It's as much food as Twizzlers are labeled as a "Fat-free food"! LOL!

I forgot to mention this in my previous response:
At the Original Pancake House restaurants, they make Nutella crepes. Have never tried them (crepes are not my thing)--it's probably in the same category as chocolate-filled croissants, when you want to be "bad" for a day. Not something you want to eat regularly!

I remember some time ago a local store had chocolate-flavoured PB on sale, and I bought three or four bottles (I have been known to eat PB out of the jar - by TBSP, yet).

I've had Nutella, occasionally ... and thought that it was supposed to be fairly nutritiony: sort of disappointed to hear you guys liken it to marshmallows.
